Thanks to Sarek2k, my Tribute disc arrived this morning. Superb

Great work Synchro, really good job.

Cant` wait to get home and run it from a virtual DVD drive. Not only will it be faster, it will enable me to add some other games, and save joystick configs etc..

Anybody in need of a copy, PM me your details.

If you want speed just copy the

"TributeHDD" and the "AMIGADISKS" Directories to a root directory on your HDD in other words "C" or "D" Etc !!

Make a shortcut to the "HDDRUN.exe" and your away
I did want to make a HDD installer for it but no time .....Perhaps the next one

Nice one Sychro. Never thought of that.

However, the virtual drive & image just keeps everything tidy

Once again, great work.

Yeah... what is your secret anyways? I got it this week and was looking at the disc and as far as I know xbox discs need to be in xiso format for them to be bootable.

Anyways the xbox side seems to be kinda limited in what's availalble. Alot of the demo's and games seem to be part of the workbenches which seem to be only available on the PC side.

Did I miss something?

Basicly the PC side takes up most of the work and the XBOX part was really an added bonus as i was able to allow the Xbox and PC to share the main " Amigadisks " directory ...plus the fact workbench is a little slow on the xbox so WHD may not be so good ...
But i may make a 2 disk version...One for xbox and one for PC...Theres still plenty there though....lots of games...hdf files and iso,s for the cd32

Ahhh ok, that's fine. I still have the amiga gamebase to go buy, and eventually the lemonamiga set if they will release 0.99 so I can properly put together a full set. They seem to have a problem with release a .dat file. Something that would take less than a minute to do.

If you didn't know. I've created xbox screenshot editions of the amiga gamebase (and sooner or later lemonamiga) with all files renamed to the 42 char limit for the xbox repository. I was hoping your tribute would consist of demo's and other misc stuff not covered by the above two mentioned. But since it is geared towards the PC and WHD I won't be able to do much.

I try to stick to stuff that is a little more thought out (like gamebase, lemonamiga, no-intro) then the jack-of-all-trades collections like Tosec, and Goodtools. I wanna run stuff that I know is gonna work and not have to sift thru the junk. So to speak.

Still it's nice to be able to pop that disc in a PC and run stuff on the go. So It'll still get some use from me. I'll probably eventually come up with something a little more elaborate on the xbox eventually.

For now I'm gonna concentrate on the no-intro's, gamebases, and eventually an Atari 800 set based on atarimania. Among other things.

What you mean is --> You want a set that someone else has got working cuz you're a lazy biatch

The tosec/good sets are for purists and those who want everything

I have complete amiga tosec (as I am a renamer so need it really) but that's as far as it goes and I prefer to use winuae directly without faffing with a DB/GUI program..

WinUAE is easy to use once you understand the amiga and how it runs at a semi-basic level!

There are plenty of WinUAEX DVD's out there full to the brim of games .....im sure if you hunt around you will find what you need.....

My intention was to just make a dvd for both machines but it was always PC orientated as not everyone has an xbox......

I don't agree I'm using one of the workbenches included (n.9 IIRC) with my whdload key and it works pretty well.

Great job, synchro.

Workbench and WHD run beautifully well for xbox and though super high resolutions tend to suffer with how they look (better on pc), they still run perfectly smoothly.

Ok sounds great A600 !!!
Shall i make an expansion disk just the Xbox side of things ???
Only take a couple of hours or so .....what do you think
But it will be standalone for xbox only and 4 gigs worth of games
