Amiga cross-stitch
My girlfriend and I have been playing some 2-player Qwak in the last month, so just for fun I decided to make her a cross-stitch of our characters. It took about a week of intermittent work
Does anyone else do Amiga-related cross-stitch? What game would you do if you did? |

Very nice. Suits pixels.
I wonder how long it would take to do a full screenshot of Syndicate |

Very nice indeed! Incidentally, there was quite a good cross-stitch pattern program for the Amiga that I dabbled with back in the day. I never made any of the patterns, but it was fun to play with. I'm sure it was on a magazine coverdisk...

Hi All, It`s a standalone programme, called Cross Stitch Master, comes with a second disk of patterns. I can put a copy in the zone if anyone wants it?

Amazing work!
Compliments to your lady. Cross-stitch is sort of traditional stuff in my country, and some (especially old) ladies, are really masters of the craft. Well, I guess it's in many countries, too. More Amiga Cross-stitch please! |

So I gave Cross Stitch Master a try, but I found it less usable than my original method, GIMP with 1px gridlines
But here is a Syndicate design for Biscuit! If anyone feels inclined to produce it I would be delighted to see. |

Dug out a picture of a project I did for my brother a few years back, Dr. Fred from Maniac Mansion based on these designs.
I never ended up doing the Nurse Edna one though; too harrowing. |

with my sons we use to re-create arcade game characters with ironable plastic beads or whatever
put them on a grid, iron them flat. We made a lot of pac man ghosts, a huge bowser and donkey kong among others. I tried to do the character from Gods but there are too many shades of brown and it's huge too, so it's really tedious. With colored characters it's easier. |
