Porting Qt Framework to Amiga OS enviroments
Seems that the Qt framework is open source and can be ported to other operating systems.
http://demo.tudos.org/qt3_tutorial.html Has anyone attempted to port it to OS 4.0, MorphOS or AROS? |

I wouldn't know, but note that the information in that article is a little outdated, Qt3 is being phased out in favor of Qt4 and Qt/Embedded is now Qtopia Core (approximately).
Qt code is marvelously easy to read and understand and the whole of Qt is very well structured. On the other hand, the core of it contains a lot of platform dependent code (and none of the editions is similar to a prospect Amiga port in many ways, I'd imagine), and Qt proper is not exactly small either. So who knows if anybody would take the trouble. |
