Then what about the 50 other settings or however many there are? Do you want jumpers for all of them? I would much prefer a jumper-less design and usually that also works without any problems.

Well that would be nice, but it seems like 50hz is a 'big' one since the machine was sold in PAL and NTSC regions and I'd expect most people want one or the other then rarely touch it.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this topic in case they manage to fix the problem. It does seem amazing that someone can achieve something so complex and then have issues with what should be trivial by comparison. Best of luck :/

I've contacted them as a prospective customer and asked about it at least. Nothing says "we need to address this" better than lost sales.

I think it doesn't have much to do with PAL vs. NTSC. In PAL modes, it will switch between 50/62.5Hz output and in NTSC modes it is 60/75 Hz. Most monitors will be happy though with 60, 62.5 and 75 Hz while 50 Hz support is not as common. The Indivision seems to 'want' to go with 62.5Hz since this is probably the default. If set to 62.5Hz, it does not seem to start in 50 Hz output mode at any time.

This behaviour is not just limited to the output refresh rate though as it also does the same with the scanline setting although not as often. I have scanline emulation enabled, but some times it will boot with them off. A power cycle then fixes the issue, just like it does with the refresh rate. I still like the product in general and this is just a minor nuisance. Seeing as there is not really any good internal alternative, you don't really have anywhere else to go if you need a good VGA output on your 500/600. Until Gold3 comes along for the Vampire, but that is a completely different beast.

I've got an A2000 but I'm struggling with my A2320, so I thought one of these might have been the trick. If the company replies at all I will post here.

Looks good, however doesn't seem to be for sale yet.

The AGA version is available though:
https://www.amedia-computer.com/en/a...200-4000d.html
It promises smooth 50/60Hz scrolling, so sounds like a successor to the long-time unavailable Indivision AGA MkI.

I'd like to see how this AGA version compares to the Indivision card.

There doesn't seem very much information about it but for a pure games machine maybe better, if it's just doing line doubling.

Hi,

I have 2 Indivision ECS flickerfixers and I have noticed both are affected by the PSU noise issue. In normal PAL mode the screen looks good but SuperPlus has a lots of flicker noises. ALso when e.g. AWEB opens a file save window with black background it starts those awful noise lines. I took out one of them and it seems it is from the new batch (has the Don't install Denise on A600 message) but there is no fix on voltage regulators at all.
As I have purchased these for more than a year ago from (if I remember well) Amigastore.eu they might not support me with the fixes. The pictures show the fixes but don't say anything about the additional capacitor values which are added to existing capacitors. I could apply the patch because I have experience with smd soldering but does someone know the exact values of those capacitors?

It would have to be a substantial amount of money since he would need to hire someone to do it as far as I understand. If he could fix it himself, he'd probably have done so already.

Maybe if alot of us go together we could offer enough money for him to hire someone to fix it?

It would be better for PR to just ignore it than to accept something like that. I also very much doubt that many people would want to pay him to fix a bug in a product they already paid for.

So anyone tested the new Indivision ECS V2? It is supposed to have a 50Hz mode and also scaling settings. I wonder if this new one will store the 50Hz setting properly and how good these scaling options work. It is also supposed to be able to finetune scanlines
