A promise is a promise as we do say here.....

I have won again ! Disk0, Disk1, Disk2 Disk4 have SADDAM virus in the Disk-validator file in L: drawer.

But a nice thing, the virus has not begun to eat the disks.....

So IFW ? knowing no GOOD copies will rise from now on, (4 copies tested,
all have the same virus at the same place, in the same file on the same disks.

What do you propose ?

I have an ADF of the intro without the Saddam virus, are the other disks in TOSEC virus free too or not ?

i wanted to translate it from french to english. Sadly this game is coded in AMOS, which means C like code, and not ASM

I assume the strings are still somewhere? Would of course mean that when resourced the code looks like sh*t.

Apart from that... any of those guys still around? Source...?

The strings are stored in way that makes it really annoying to translate, like this :

I.L.E.T.A.I.T.T.E.M.P.S.D.E.L.E.T.U.E.R.

Mmm well indeed, it is a bit tirying to read the sentences and translate them if they are stored in that way, but not so much.

I doubt i speak english well enough to translate all correctly, otherwise i would have proposed my help without any hesitation. The game seems great indeed !

Maybe is there a french member here who is totally fluent in english ?

it is precisely because i didn't find them on the net that i asked. So if you have a link you would be very kind to send it, in a pm for example.

i am totally fluent in english. That's why i wanted to pass the game to english (I did already EOB1, 2, Ambermoon, Viaje al centro de la Tierra).

The real problem is the coding of this game, and the way the game stores the sentences.
About The shortgrey, you clearly didn't search anywhere, be honest

Sometimes i ask myself why i upload manual scans on HOL if no one look at them....

After checking there are 800kb of programs to ressource with no assurance the ressources files can be re-assembled.

would be easier to get access to how open the file under AMOS.....

Because I do! And most certainly other people do that too!

A manual is a big part of the experience for me. It's like opening that big box and reading the manual before playing (I always do that before starting a new game) and anticipating how awesome the game will be, counting the pages before you'll be able to finally start it

So keep it up, Denis! Your work is much appreciated

The first thing i did was to download the manual.
You perfectly know that the protection codes are often avaible in a separate file, so i just thought they weren't included into the manual. So don't play this game with me, a "codes are in the manual" would have been a clever answer .
