Before anyone shouts, culling doesn't mean we're just gonna delete everything btw, the idea is to create a few sensible topics & have dedicated threads rather than 4 threads covering the same thing that've all become confused with what's what over time.

Tonight might be optimistic though, we'll see how bippm gets on with it though as I'm out to football match shortly. With any luck he'll have finished it before I check back in

Well i'm only gonna soft-delete threads so they can be restored if need be!

Any of the older stuff is gonna go as it really is pointless. Anything I think is useful I'll leave to Idoru to decide as he maintains the majority of the dats and also this part of the forum!

Ooops (edited wrong post )

anyway as I was saying.. I'm gonna where possible merge threads

It's good that have all my files in a different schema:
All images of a game in a 7zip compressed archive. This way i got a very good compression ratio because all the alt's have only few bytes difference and do compress very good this way. It's a little bit like the ipf/sps disks of a game are collected into one archive. Maybe with the 10.000+ adf gamefiles it's time for a new official schema too.

Anyway, del *.7z /f /q and i have finally time for friends/family and offline games...
