new board - A600 ps2 mouse adapter/extender
Hi All,
seeing as i'm out of town i was able to make a new board that i may build if theres enough interest, it is for the A600 and plugs into the side of the a600 to allow all 9 pin devices to plug in properly... and it has a built in PS2 mouse adapter as well. Here's a pic... |

to get an idea of what it will look like, it will be very similar to the a600 mouse/joy extender on the bottom of this page... http://www.kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/ with a PS2 socket (facing the front of te A600) and circuitry added for a PS2 mouse |

I might have been interested if I hadn't already acquired all the necessary components to build one myself a week ago, so I think I'll have a try with that first. Otherwise I can always get back to you. :-)
I think I will be able to integrate the components inside the mouse and simply get an optical mouse with an Amiga cable on it. Should be nice. |

Very interesting. Would that be possible to build it with an USB mouse adapter instead of PS2?

Hi I'd be interested in one of these. USB surely would be better than PS/2 ?
Would any wireless usb mouses work with ? |

Only USB devices which support USB to PS/2 adapters as well (meaning they include an USB to PS/2adapter in their package most of times). If you want USB support for every Wireless USB mouse, then better get a USB adapter like Subway with a stack that supports it. |

Hi I've found my old logitech cordless mouse works with the cocilino
it is similar to this but the mouse is blue as well as the receiver. The receiver is massive in comparison to modern ones. http://schwarztech.us/reviews/logitechcordlessclick |

USB? Logitech seems one of the more compatible mfrs. I have a Netscroll mouse which works well with ST (same requirements for ST)

Hi
I abandoned this design as such as the PSX adapter has autofire on it so it wasn't worth the effort. I still sell them as a basic joy/mouse extender for the a600. they work great allowing you to plug in serial devices into the a600 that have the wide 9 pin connectors on them. You can see a pic on my webpage. http://kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/ |
