WTB: Amiga 500 PSU &
After not having an Amiga for about 10 years (Last machine was A1200 with a Magnum accelerator) I managed to get hold of a Rev6a 500.
I am looking for the following if anyone has at a fair price (in UK preferably). An original PSU (not bothered about model) Kickstart 2.04 ROM (37.300+) Thanks |

Don't know why you'd bother with 2.04...

I am currently trying to get PCB's made for the DIP64 IDE adapter, so i need that for the drivers (think it pretends to be the A600 GAYLE) as I cannot be bothered mucking around making a custom kickstart.

According to the website it doesn't work on 2.04, you need at least 2.05. But just go for 3.1(.4).

True, 2.04 doesn't support Gayle IDE out of the box - a disk-based driver would have to be loaded first. But I think there's some confusion with the version numbers - 37.300 *is* 2.05. The 2.04 ROM found in the A500+ is 37.175, so I think the OP actually does want 2.05 after all. But yes, the newer 3.1.4 ROMs will be an option when physically available, or if the OP knows someone who can burn the images.
