fuzzylogic: Hi, have you manipulated anything on that B17 disks?
xxChrisxx: ? what why?
fuzzylogic: like..
xxChrisxx: yes on this disk there was a bootblock virus, I checked the disks before I gave them to you
fuzzylogic: and then?
xxChrisxx: I have copied the files from the disk, cleaned it, killed the virus with VZ and the copied the files back
fuzzylogic: wtf? why that?
xxChrisxx: just in case, why are you asking?
fuzzylogic: well, ok .. and the other disks?
xxChrisxx: were all OK
fuzzylogic: okay then please search for the other disk-boxes und give me a call then, but do not modify them again!

@Crashdisk:
Any idea, how to fix this:
Quote:
Compendium Est Mortes #2 (1993)(Agnostic Front)[b corrupt file]
3F7BC30C
After replacing damaged file, the booloader does not work anymore.
Badly copmpiled disk, any bad copy?

zoned Composite.Studio_v1.1__QuickBrush4000.zip

Composite Studio 1.0 (1994)(Dimension Tec.)(Disk x of 2).dsq
and
Quick Brush 4000 (Disk x of 7)[Req. Composite Studio 1.0].dsq

Composite Studio 1.1 comes as lha only, so we skip this

Composite Studio 1.0 is for use with VideoToaster/ToasterPaint.
disk #1 has an installer for "Quick Brush 4000" on it, so they belong together.

all "Quick Brush 4000" disks have same name "quickbrush" and only pictures on it
date on images is 1993 - it must be the same company:
"(Dimension Tec.)" == "Dimension Technologies" - i do hate ultra long filenames
installation went fine, so disks seems to be ok.

both dsq ( original) and tsgui converted adfs in the zone.

This compilation should not be fixed, it is already in its original state. To correct this disk, it should move the file to not overwrite the loader...
Another example of a bad mix of content DOS and not DOS.

I added your lot but it should be noted that disk #3 of "Quickbrush 4000 (1994)(Dimension Technologies)" is damaged!
Thank you anyway

If you find a copy of the file in good condition, I can repair the disk

one over at ebay does offer cstudio and quickbrush + manual.
but 6 disks only, maybe not the "quickbrush 4000" version

edit: another set does exist, in dms files. we need this cd-image for the bbs-collection

@Crashdisk:
Just stumbled over 2 issues:
1. There are some ADFs from one and the same series, but splitted in different dats, its probably correctly splitted, but is it a good decision?
How do you handle this situations?
Example in current release:
Quote:
Commodore Amiga - Compilations - Applications (TOSEC-v2013-09-28_CM)
Tuff Stuff 012 (19xx)(D-Tect)

Commodore Amiga - Demos - Packs (TOSEC-v2013-09-26_CM)
Tuff Stuff #06 (1990-11-30)(D-Tect)
2. Its especially the case in Demos/Packs.
There are some Packs, which contains OCS and AGA Demos/Intros.
How do you handle this situations?
For example:
BTW: Please check this obscure DMS image:
http://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/amiga/P...Pipeline04.dms

Yes, I do not like separate disks of the same collection. If a collection contains some disks of a different kind, I would to let grouped.

If a disk contains a majority of AGA demos, the compilation is marked (AGA), otherwise, I did not write anything. You have another suggestion?

This file is heavily corrupted and contains defects. However, it has allowed me to improve the pre-analysis of my program and fix some problems

EDIT
Another thing about an old request : I added limited support for the raw data used by the bootloader with DOS disks. This adds fake files in the file tree containing invisible data. Through this, we can extract the data, verify that they are protected by BAM or if they crush the other data files.

It seems that there are two parallel series for "Tuff Stuff" because there are two numbers 12 (Utility / DemoPack)

Hi guys, i was making KF streamfiles out of my floppies in a big box, and i have found a version of Z-out, a Kixx release, which is labeled v2, and the game bugs are corrected in this version. The advantec logo is centered as far as i can say
