That's not quite correct either. $350000 is the decrunch address and it is changed with SMC depending on the memory config. There is no jmp at all because it is just used to copy the loader to the correct memory location.
I don't know yet why the loader fails and can't be bothered to check right now but may get back to it later. In any case it doesn't look fake to me, there are lots of crack patches and routines to defeat the checksums! Way too much work for a fake release.

These are my problems in scanning Amiga Tosec
Had a quick look at your fixdats.
Since you are missing some sets only, you can grab this sets manually from EAB FTP!
Note: You will not find any IPFs and WORKBENCH disks on our FTP, read the rules of this forum.
You have to pick up this sets somewhere else.

------

Has anybody an idea, how to unpack those "Fungus" packed Data in game "Zool"?
There is a XFD Slave too, but did not recognize the Data on "Zool" image.

ok, solved, "FUNGUS" ID is the End Of File.

@Crashdisk:
Can you please check this images for me:

Quote:
Zool (1992)(Gremlin)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr CSL]
9D01465E
Zool (1992)(Gremlin)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr CSL][a]
ED07F32A
ED07F32A seems bad for me, playing the game is time consuming and Fungus decrucher is unreliable, often GURU when trying to save ucrunched file.

Quote:
Zool (1993)(Gremlin)(AGA)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr Access][t +9 Access]
3E764650
Zool (1993)(Gremlin)(AGA)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr Ministry]
9F0E7178
here the Access version seems the bad one.

ok, have found out, how "Fungus" works.

For me it seems the cracktro is broken.
At bootup, game jumps to $D9400 (Track 79), here you can find executable, the file header seems to be intact, XFD reports Bytekiller 2.0 packed Data, but fails to unpack.

I even think, its a fake release!
I think the illegal part of "Angels" was quite dead middle 1991.
I think the exe (loader) is corrupt, so when it unpacks it unpacks garbage at the end. The loader then seems to be looking at the place that is now garbage for values to add to an address, but it adds crazy garbage values.

BTW I have a German version (Endless Piracy) that I cant seem to find in TOSEC if anyone wants it.

i just played through the +9 trained aga version a few days ago. i had no problems to finish the game (tho i surely didn't found all of the bonus levels and such).

ED07F32A
is definitelly the corrupt image, not very badly error.
the "Die" sample is corrupt, stored on disk at address $731EE to $75504 and its not "FUNGUS" packed.

This is not surprising, the file is "visually" filled with reading error...

indeed, its visible(hex viewing), meanwhile i see the bad patterns.
i want to be sure, its possible but less likely, that this area contains unused Data, so i like to make further investigations.

Apart from the functional aspect, the copy quality is poor and is not representative of the version provided by Crystal

Zool (1992)(Gremlin)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr CSL][t +1 DC]
AEDAF95A
Zool (1992)(Gremlin)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr CSL][t +1 DC][a]

Should find the patch at the origin of trainer to be sure.
Changes from $DB000 to $DB5FF, do not make sense.

Zool (1992)(Gremlin)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr CSL][t +1 DC][a]
87CBC656
=> Zool (1992)(Gremlin)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr CSL][t +1 DC][a badump]
Crystal intro is corrupt but it is disabled so this is not a (real) problem!
