Welcome to the forum and thank you very much for the upload, this is really a nice start.
I immediately added above quoted disks to TOSEC; the rest is Crashdisk his job.
Anyway there are truely some gems among them, and you even named the disks in TOSEC format, not much to do for me then, good job!

BTW: Just upload, what you have, even damaged disks, often we can fix damaged disks!

I keep getting this issue with both the main server and the mirror:

Response: 200 PORT command successful.
Command: LIST
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Status: Disconnected from server
Status: Resolving address of grandis.nu

Mirror gives:
Response: 500 Illegal PORT rejected (address wrong).
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing


I want to upload some stuff but can't. Don't even remember my username password Anyone can help?

Very weird Akira; I can even connect via "Windows Explorer" without issue:

Standard FTP port of 21 so nothing special in terms of settings...



You're not using a MAC are you?

As for username & password; PM Turran & Dannyboy and I'm sure they will reset for you

I can connect using the web interface but I cannot use Filezilla to connect and even less upload.
MAybe it is related to security settings? Anybody using Filezilla has a site manager entry they can share?

Yes, I'm using FileZilla also

...but there's nothing special in the setup; only page worth showing is the first (rest are default):



Uploading; you'll only be able to do this into your own directory and obviously need to know your username / password. This post details what needs to be done (but I'm sure you've done this already).

It warns me about the certificate, I accept it anyway (and tell it to accept it in the future), then after logging in it goes to read the directory and fails there.

not sure why it would ask for a cert if you are using NORMAL FTP > can you check your CONNECTION TYPE?
Shouldn't a cert only apply when using FTP over SSL etc?

I have the exact same settings as DamienD which say to use TSL over FTP IF available.
I also tried just choosing FTP as you have it there, and I have the same error: it connects to the server, but always times out when retrieving the directory.

Could it be because I am behind a VPN?

YES! I remember I had this once at my old job, somehow some proxy or vpn caused the same thing. Does it happen with other ftp sites too?

You are right, I think I had issues.

Hmmm... I checked and, for some reason, Windows 7 treats the VPN connection as a "public network" and public networks have restrictions.
Now, I eliminated the Public network restriction of Filezilla from Windows Firewall.

I couldn't find a way to change the network type for my VPN connection though, when you connect to a new network it asks you if it's public or what, but after that is set, how can one change it? I cannot find it.

Anyway, it's still doing the same. I will restart the computer and see if that fixes it.

[edit] no luck, it still does the same Connects fine but doesn't retrieve the directory. I tried turning off the VPN, same shit. I have this issue with all FTPs apparently.
