What are you doing? When you copied these additional WB files it should boot up without issues. Try it again. Setup an A1200 config, add the now activated CWB HDF in the harddrives tab and start WinUAE.

i havnt copied any files i loaded the wb disk and then it asked me to restart so i did, now i just ge a blank screen

Press "n", there is no real need to fully upgrade to WB 3.1.

Looks like you haven't removed the WB disk image before you made a reset.

Puuh, you makes me crazy. The mounted CWB asks for a valid WB image, you inserted it and pressed enter, right? Then "n" for the WB 3.1 full upgrade question and then the install script copy the needed files.

Why? Everthing is readable on the screen, after you boot the HDF for the first time.

yes i get that lot, then it says remove disk and reeboot, i do that then i get nothing just a black screen,
