I've never heard anyone else say they like the music from Cadaver. I have to agree though. It's very atmospheric and medieval, and sets the mood perfectly. I especially like the bit near the end when it's just the repetitive drums

Some easy ones -
Shadow of the Beast 1-3 Turrican 2 Lotus 2 (I like the music in the other two as well but Lotus 2 has my favourite tunes) Lost Patrol (music was the only reason I bothered to play this game as much as I did) It Came from the Desert (the music isn't that great to listen to seperately, but it fits the mood of the game so damn well) And a bunch of other games, obviously. But those are the first ones that come to mind. [ Show youtube player ] and [ Show youtube player ] are some videos I made ages ago with various music I like from a few Amiga games. |

You are the only one that have quoted these Alex Ekian masterpieces.. Eighteen years have passed and these themes, with their middle-eastern, deep atmospheres still loiting into my mind.. Dune - Ecolove Dune - Fremens Elfmania had also an exceptional set of short tracks (10) and each one was an intriguing variation of a single, main theme for the game. Just 2 example: Elfmania - Selector (the very short bassline is amazing!) Elfmania - Waterfall Another very good one that still rocks me, sometime when I wake up in the morning it's Benefactor's title track, so tender! What about Desert Strike's title track, guys.. Goodbye! Last edited by mazxim; 17 April 2010 at 02:09. |
