Right, i have ordered some parts. Not many, enough for 10 boards, and i can make up a few boards , for a few people as kits, i will redesign the layout of the board without the wheel support and the ICD2 Connector. I will put the USB connector on the board in place if the PS2 connector. This will make it even smaller so that charlie can try to fit it into a mouse.

Hows that?

ok parts are here, will work out price soon, won be very much as total component count is 2, 5 if you include the pcb,usb connector and 9 pin D.

Ok, Finished the new board design. I decided to go with wheel mouse support on the board. that way if someone decides to help me out with software, then we may well have wheel mouse and extras available.

I did not include the ICD2 Pic programmer connection. The microchip pics will come pre programmed. But for the adventurous out there, it would not be to hard to re program them with a few flying leads off the pic. If there are firmware updates from me.

On my monitor this preview looks actual size(before you click it), i have a 24 inch monitor.

As you can see from above its going to be a bit tight to solder up for newbies. If your a dab hand with the iron you will have no problems. If you take your time and solder the thing together starting with the caps and then the resistors, then the Pic, then the USB socket followed by the 9 pin D it should all go smoothly.

Tomorrow i will get on and test one of these layouts, and hopefully by the end of the weekend i will be ready to send them out pending a test of my Pay pal account, as i have not used it to receive money for a long time. As for the cost, i still have to get to that.
