Cannon Fodder Dies after mission 21 - Page 4

Cannot get it to work, but I am probably doing something wrong! I am new to this site and the use of WinUAE as well. Which ADFs should I mount on the floppy drives? And where can I find the savestates?

The game is playing, I simply cannot find the savestates.

i have not included my save disk ! you want it ?

EDIT : my save disk is ALREADY in the archive !

Savestates are in the end corrupted under winuae. Play a mission, save it, play a mission, etc, etc.

pick my "mision20" on my save disk, or "mision21" and you're done

@dlfrsilver/damienD Hi as with many others I have been playing through a 'bad dump' flt version of cannon fodder which crashes after mission 20. I notice you did upload a working version to the zone a couple of months ago but for some reason I can only see one page of the zone (the last 20 days)... Could you please re upload it or tell me what I've done wrong in the zone? Thank you

The zone only lasts for 21 days, so every upload will be gone if the post announcing it is older than 21 days. I'll grab the image and upload it to the EAB file server instead this time

ok mate - thanks - I must have downloaded these about 8 times already but I have had to sell my A1200 and I am back to using Winuae for a while at least so I am rebuilding my adf collection on my crappy old PC...

Apologies for resurrecting a really old thread, but I'm having exactly the same trouble as the other people who posted in that I just can't get past mission 20 due to the game crashing after the mission 20 victory screen.

Is anyone able to help me out? I've played the game through using the WHDLOAD version and 2 FLT versions of the game - they all die in the same place.

News to me seeing as I completed the game when I did the install all those years ago.

It could easily be something I've misconfigured in WinUAE, but it's consistently at the same point with each copy I've tried. The victory screen rolls, but then it hangs - the WHDLOAD version gives me a screen with yellow garbage and flashing artifacts and it just hangs.

The ADF copies crash in the same place, but it's a black screen with some red artifacts to the right hand side.

I stumbled across this thread and some of the posts seemed to be very similar as to what I'm experiencing

this is strange, because i have been able to finish the game. The mission 20 crash only if you play the game without loosing for a long time. Best thing is to save mission 20, reboot the amiga, load the game, load the save, and off you go

It must pass and load then mission 21.
