Thanks for the suggestion Burseg. White windows certainly does go well with the wallpaper but makes everything a little too bright for my taste. The dark windows contrast well with the lighter background; or perhaps it's just my eyes. I think I'm going to keep the base 8 colours fairly true to the standard ClassicWB's - stays with the classic theme and people can alter them to whatever they want after downloading.
By the way Burseg, should I fully remove the old altered wallpaper from the package, or keep it in the pattern drawer with all the others you've made? Frog, good suggestion; I'll try out those Scalos options and they might just do the trick. P96 certainly does speed things up in emulated workbench for reasons outlined in the first post and that's why I decided to release this version as a kind of base install just as you mentioned. Thanks for everyone’s input, especially Burseg for the new wallpapers - much appreciated. Last edited by Bloodwych; 14 June 2004 at 21:24. |

I like the wallpaper but I have a couple of suggestions
1).. Change Miggy to Amiga.. Miggy sounds so Cheesy Yeuuk!!! 2). Remove the bar that goes across the screen and passes through the MIGGY word Otherwise that is wicked |

Don't get me wrong but I'm bored of the word "Amiga"! It's everywhere

Yes it is everywhere but it is an Amiga after all... Do something else, maybe it is me but personally I hate the word Miggy (Unless being used in a general conversation!)
How about something else? |

How about some C= Sign instead of a name like "Miggy" or "Amiga"

All feedback is taken into consideration.
According to this, a future edition will be made with the Galatasaray emblem |

Well when you lot are all fighting for Burseg wallpaper releases I've gone ahead and updated the first post with the new look P96 ClassicWB. That old wallpaper is now dead Burseg.
I vote for one with a HUGE England flag containing a classic tick, old school C= logo, the newer boing ball and bloodwych theme in each corner. Seriously, some more releases in the future would be nice based on the older school ticks and C=. They are Classic Amiga symbols after all. Plus a purple theme based on the WB 3.0 ROM screen would go great with the current icons. Totally pleased with the current new brighter look however - seems fresh and niggles aside, everyone has to admit the wallpapers look good. |
