MIchael, for me it seems that colors are from 256 colors AGA screen? That is excatly what I get then. For a best result, you should give Netsurf own screen.

You could help Chris to debug Netsurf as he has no previous 68k Amiga coding experience.

Two options, send him email, or write to amiga.org. Chris doesn't follow eab and have account here. http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=72896

Radiobuttons, do you see 3 of them?! Why ? My guess is the initialization code is terminated wrongly or something.

One other important note, the default window must by smaller then the screen by the size of the screentitle bar.
For me it seems that your findings are now fixed to source code.

I thought that those would be "autobuilds" but they don't seem to update.

Haven't had time to test those myself.

Default install on A4000D with AOS 3.9 BB1&2 results in a working NetSurf but the buttons miss icons. Do I miss some datatype?

Two possibilities.
1. You do not have all the images installed
2. Your png datatype / picture datatype are not compatible, ypu can convert the images to something else without alpha channel data and it should work fine

AmigaSystem I know that you take your time to try NetSurf versions. Can I ask you what AGA version do you prefer; NetSurf-Aga or this?

Wrong question. It should be, "if you have AGA only machine, wich version you prefer".

I have tested both of them. This requires about 10mb less ram to start, it used to be about twice as fast with real machines.

To make it useable with real machines.

Turn ON cache all images from settings.
Turn Java OFF from setting.
Give it it's own screen, for better colors if you have just 256 colors
Add Netsurf for FBlit if you have just AGA.

Do not turn ON true type fonts, it would make it bog slow.

https://ci.netsurf-browser.org/jenki...f-options.html

You can also edit these to settings file. For example fastest / most useable screen refresh with real Amigas is 100x100 pixels hunks. That would be just stupid with emulated machines or OS4 version of it. Looks quite ugly, to be honest. But it is nice compromice between speed and useability.

NetSurf by Chris Young with AGA systems it's much smoother and faster than NetSurf by Artur Jarosik .The only problem is that NetSurf by Chris Young has problems viewing the Skin, requires FPU to correctly run guigfx.library (guigfxlib_nofpu does not seem to work) end requires minimum 16 MB Ram, but recommended much more.

Thanks AmigaSystem. Yep, I see the problems to show the images while using 16 colors. I'm remapping them but I also find some problems like this:

BTW, I think that I'm missing something. How can I use its own screen? Just writting a name for it or is it a new MUI one that I've got to define first?

I can not replicate your error, on AkReal 8 NetSurf 3.9 works well, even the Skin is clearly visible.

Do you have correct versions of guigfx and render libraries?

http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/renderlib31
http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/guigfxlib

To run it it's own screen. Go to settings and seek screen mode settings.

Yes utri007, if it does a clean installation it's better and there will be no need to set the screen

Yes Utri, it's the render library. I was using version 31.0 from Andreas Falkenhahn that comments:

Quote:
This is not the latest version of render.library. The
latest version is v40.8 and it is available from dev/misc/renderlib.lha.
The reason why this version is still here is that v31 is the last version
of render.library implemented in assembler. It is much faster than v40
which is implemented in C and doesn't have any major new features over
v31. That's why you might want to use v31 instead if you care about
performance. Source code included.
but changing to 48.8 it doesn't crash and the colors are right.
It was crashing when I was closing NetSurf.

This is using 16 colors with the images remapped:

Edit: About my guigfx.libray it's strange. I've got same version 20 from the same date, but the size of mine is different, 43.756 against 42.040. Edit: I see that he made different "20" versions.
