I just bought a bunch of vintage gadgets from eBay and smart gadgets from Amazon for friends and colleagues. Christmas is already over but I still have presents to give.

I got myself 'Worthy' as a small present!

Maybe I will review it as well?

Wish my camera was better, seems an insult to photograph such a fine work of art with it:

Just received my DKB 1240 Mongoose which is a 030@50 Card. It runs nicely!

I also downloaded the "DCD1.iso" DemoCD (Dozens of Demos from the Nineties) a few days ago. You can easily unzip it to a folder. I've put it on a CF card and can happily explore the old sh** now

You know how they say that sometimes the memory is better than the actual thing.......

.....they're wrong :P

It's FANTASTIC!

Got a free old TV this week, and the setup is sitting on a coffee table behind me under a towel.....which the cat slept on. Bloody cat!

What size CRT?

I have 2 x 14" and 1 x 28" all 4:3 and they're great! Even running emulation is just like playing on the console. Perfect pixels!

A quick dodgy measurement with a ruler and I'm guessing it's a 21" screen (corner to corner).

Larger than I wanted, as back in the day, I'd have been rocking a 12 or 14" in the bedroom.

However this does simulate the rare occasion when I was "allowed to plug it into the big TV in the sitting room" lol.

Re how good a CRT is, you're not wrong. When I was back in the UK we were playing an N64 on a modern TV via an HDMI adapter and it looked CRAP! We then plugged it into the RF of the 12" CRT I was using to test the Amiga, and the result was PERFECT!

Looks a good little TV , that is exactly why went for a 14" crt , tried allsorts including Amiga compatible lcd monitors, while workbench looked fantastic, games were another matter, they looked awful.

005AGIMA, Loved watching your journey to eventually get home with all your stuff, and really enjoyed it, thankyou , i can imagine how you feel as i was the same after firing up my cd32 for the 1st time after not having played an Amiga game in over 20 years, the memories come flooding back.

Hope to see more videos soon
