Pretty sure it's a standard data track + audio tracks (.WAVs).

Thanks again, really appreciate that !

@NovaCoder: The original FM-Towns/Marty consists of a mixed CD-ROM. There's one data track and several audio tracks on the CD. Just to be sure, I guess I would have to convert the audio tracks to ogg or fla/flac in order to run the game on the ScummVM? So that will throw me back to the start...

But as mentioned before, I am really happy with the PC/VGA version

The FM towns version is using a software FM synth emulator which is hogging the cpu like crazy, even though it’s only used for sound effects here and there. Music is supposed to come from the CD audio tracks.
Maybe the synth emulator can be optimized to only use the cpu when it’s actually producing audible data...

Tested Broken Sword on ScummVM RTG on WinUAE and I must say that Audio and Graphics are perfect, the defects only blamed on the Audio-Video recording.

I played Broken Sword in Italian version but this does not matter to appreciate the game.

Cool, did you download the music package for the intro too?

Also you can set tooltype to run the launcher in full HD

Overlay width and height.

You need to download the audio packs from the scummVM website I think.

No need to download these files to listen to audio comments, the original ".SMK" files work well with ScummVM as shown in my video.

About "tooltype to run the launcher in full HD" what to write in the tooltype?

Apparently all you need is a null modem cable and a PC to enable MIDI playback with a classic Amiga.

This was news to me

Now that I’ve seen it, it is so obvious that one wonders why it isn’t more widely known

WRT to SCI games in ScummVM: I sank some time into optimizing it. The main problems is inefficient implementation of few functions around the SCI VM and and only second the inefficient drawing routines. But it can be made playable on 030.

Cool

SCI games were always very slow so would be great to get them running on an 030.

This is nice too -> https://rastport.com/products/KA12/

You can give it a go at: https://github.com/mheyer32/scummvm-amigaos3
You'll notice that it is based on an RTG port of your AGA port, with the AGA code put back in place It relies on BlazeWCP being installed.

It builds with Bebbo's GCC:
Code:
./configure --host=m68k-amigaos --disable-all-engines --enable-engine=sci --disable-mt32emu --enable-release --enable-optimizations --disable-hq-scalers --with-amiga-prefix=/media/sf_Amiga/ScummVM
and build with
Code:
make amigaos3dist -j<X>
'--with-amiga-prefix=' determines the path to put the resulting binary into
'--enable-engine=sci' only enables SCI... but you can also enable scumm, scumm_7-8, eob, lol, kyra etc.

The resulting executable is ginormous - there's just too much stuff in it.

is there a way to run a game without launcher?
so if in windows version i write in a batch:

scummvm.exe -n -p1 ("1" is the sub directory where i put a game)

it run directly without using launcher.

i tried with 1.8.1 Amiga version and the commands are ok, but launcher is always there.

Would you like to start the game by bypassing the GUI?

WinUAE does this automatically, ask on the WinUAE thread if you need help setting it up.
