This really is a brilliant game. The tracks are challenging but fair, I like how if you crash into another bike the other bike crashes to the ground too (it always annoyed me how in most games if you crash into another car they don't suffer any damage and you do!) All the little touches are nice, the ambulance on every track, the helicopter and the sun in the sky, it seems as if the positions the sun and the mountains in the background are geographically correct, that is if the mountains or the sun is in the east, then whenever you are facing eastwards on the track you can see them. It's a tiny detail, but I love details and it seems as if the game makers have put in the extra effort to make them that way.
All done with automatic gears: 1. Paul Ricard -- 1:56.9 2. Chiswick -- 0:55.4 3. Nutford -- 0:55.7 4. Mallory -- 0:43.0 5. Waddesdon -- 0:51.1 6. Tetbury -- 1:02.8 7. Cadwell -- 1:22.3 Total: 467.2 |

Maybe.. |

Yeah, sounds like you could have managed a similar time to me. The corner with the tall building, did you take that flat out? It's possible, but you have to get the timing perfect - too soon and you clip the building... too late and you ride straight into the tree's!

I worked out that you could take it full throttle towards the end, but I became so used to breaking a little that I decided to stick with it, especially as the next corner you have to break anyway. I didn't think that there was an extra second to find though! What speed did you take through that corner you have to break on, I usually aim for 290 although I think I once took it at 300 and got away with it with some fancy mousework. What about the penultimate corner? When you are around 310 I can take that full speed but whenever I come to it at 329 I always seem to hit the grass at some point, which makes me want to break just a tiny bit whenever I'm on a really good lap.

I think I have taken it at full speed before, but not on my run posted today. Like you I seem to end up on the grass, so I think I lifted off the throttle (and no breaking) until I hit the apex (halfway through the corner) before flooring it again. You should exit that corner at 315km/h or better. |

Actually, I tested that corner today. It is possible to take it at 329km/h, but you have to start as far left as possible, turn into it as far as you can (and prey no bikers are on the inside) and you should just make it (you will come within a whisker of going onto the grass).

Hey guys, I posted a motion over on Lemon. Please say something over there. Is this about avoiding idiot riders or getting times? I know its practically allowed now - but if we all do it, it makes it unanimous.
Capehorn, I think you are right after all. A level playing field. Last edited by lifeschool; 01 November 2013 at 18:14. |

Yeah, it's getting really tight at the top. I'm going to have to master tracks 1 & 7 for me to have a chance at 1st.

I have still a note:
It is strange to count an average with drivers not having driven the whole 7 courses (because the lesser total lowers the average). 2 methods to a better average come to my mind: 1. count for each driver who is in the top 5 but has not raced all tracks the highest score of a driver who has raced all tracks (eg atm, add for michaels and akabeis score 2 times Linesmachines' score). 2. The better method, but much more work: Take the total of the first driver, divide it by the sum of times of the tracks, which has the driver who hasnt raced all courses, from the first driver, and multiply it by the total of the "incomplete" driver. Example for Mihcael/who: Take who's total score, divide that by the sum of tracks 1-4 of who, and multiply that with (the until now submitted) times of track 1-4 from mihcael. Method 2 assumes that the player would race the undone tracks with the same ratio as he did the first ones. |

Obviously it wasnt right, but it doesnt really matter until the end of the round.
So as long as I post track times for the other 3 tracks or another player pops up, all will be good for now. I was considering a permanent fix for this issue (that i only recently introduced) but i nice solution and the required time to implement them did not present themselves to me. |
