SNES could do fast action games without slowdowns. Sparkster is a great example of that. |

Poor coder at EA. Games like Contra III, Aleste or Axelay shows the real SNES power. But Gradius III has some ugly slowdowns too.

The arcade version of Gradius III got some slowdowns aswell, maybe they wanted an arcade perfect port in every aspect. |

however there are three of these games that have elevated to a close level of sheer excellence and they are
anything else just a wast of data storage. |

What's with all this Megadrive love?
I owned one alongside my Amiga, and I loved both. Had the Jap import version and a wireless arcade stick, which I sold to get a SNES on its UK release date. Anyway, fav games? Absolutely love Revenge/Super Shinobi. Superb music and nice gameplay. Ghouls and Ghosts graphics blew me away; it's what made me buy one in the first place. As did Golden Axe and Strider. Loved some of the Shoot em ups like AeroBlasters and Gynoug. |

Anyone here have a Griffin Drive??
It was a dual format (tri format?) backup device akin to the Super Magicom which worked with the SNES, Megadrive and I think PC Engine. |

About a year ago I finished ~20 games on Genesis (MD).
One of surprises is M.U.S.H.A. (top down shooter), Thunder Force II, III & IV (first being strange top-down shooter). Reason I started playing those game is book called awesome genesis secrets. Nice book. |

Anyone knows if any MegaDrive emulator is capable of multiplayer via the internet? Would really love to play some of the games with some mates that now live a bit to far away to visit them at least once a month. |
