It's not full size, it's I guess Mini-HDMI and it is located between the audio jack and the usb-c port

Here is a small part from the Quick Connect section of the printed manual that comes with the A600GS:

We are using our own SystemV46 which we have developed over the last 6 years. On top of that is AmiBench desktop. It is very compatible with OS3.x.

You can bring over software with a USB flash drive or download from the internet - the system has both wireless networking and ethernet.

Hey AmigaKit, would this hardware be capable of running an Amiga BBS online (telnet) 24/7? If yes I may have to order two of them hehe

That is the ugliest piece of crap I've ever seen with an Amiga badge stamped on it. Makes the Vampire look like a work of art. I suggest you abandon this system, it's nothing more than yet another cheap ARM emulation box and it'll be more e-waste landfill fodder within weeks of use. Why the hell do people think we need these? Utter rubbish.
Nonsense, it seems that you just don't like or even hate emulators.

I'm using WinUAE for more than 20 years now, and I don't want to miss it after my A2000 died long ago. An ARM based emulator like the A600GS can be produced a lot cheaper and is probably still faster than a Vampire, I guess. It also may offer many hardware features for little money. The desktop system AmiBench looks quite professional for me, comes with some nice tools and applications and a great icon set. Internet connections should also be possible and gamers should have a lot of fun; but myself, I never play any games.

Just one dumb question about these great icons: do they have a glow effect? I've never discovered a selected icon on all the screenshots, or how can you distinguish between unselected and selected icons if there is a great number of them in a window?

It looks OK. What I wouldn't give for an anniversary edition of the 90s TV show 'Bad Influence' to review the A600GS head to head with THEA600? Maxi! That would be awesome! Especially if they could get Andy Crane and Violet Berlin back to do it!

I suggest you keep running WinUAE instead of paying for something you don’t need. If you have money to spare, consider buying some useful games or productivity software instead of buying pointless Aliexpress hardware with an »Amiga« badge.

And why do you think that your opinion does matter ? We are all grown up so we can decide for ourself if we will buy something or not ...

And to be clear, I am not a buyer of the A600GS, I still have plenty of original hardware to play with ... but if it brings joy to others, why not ?

Is it really grown up behaviour to buy toys you don’t need or is it just pleasing your inner child?

Of course it is, EVERYONE on this damn planet does it, so what ?

In the 80s, when I had a C64 and the Amiga came out ... did I "NEED" it ? Of course not ! Did I buy it anyway ?`Of course I did ...

It´s a hobby ! We "NEED" nothing of this, no Amiga Coffee cups, no stickers, no fancy new keycaps, new IDE controllers, new Joypads, whatever ...

So can one bring over software from 3.2.2.1 like Camilla Boemann's TextEdit?

@PerspexSphinx

I am unfamiliar with TextEdit - I dont see why is cannot work, especially if the gadget classes it uses are installed.

@PeterK

The icons when hovered over have a very subtle glow. There is none when selected.

@all

We have been working on a lot of our new BOOPSI gadgets that are missing from OS3 such as Toolbar Gadget, ListViewer and Tabbed Gadget Class. These are included in the SDK drawer on the A600GS for other developers to take advantage of. We also are porting programs across which uses these classes- mostly from the Enhancer Software on OS4:

No one will pay hundreds of dollars for this SDK especially if the classes are only going to be available for the A600GS anyway. The classes and SDK should be free for all OS3 developers if you want them to be used.

You're in luck since AROS is already free, it didn't took the world by storm, but it soon will!

TextEdit is, I believe, a ReAction based text editor that comes with Amiga OS3.2.2.1
