First game ever: A game on a Philips G7000 (Magnavox Odyssey 2 in the US) where you controlled some kind of moon lander and you had to fly up to a satellite to refuel, before your opponent did. I have no idea what it was called though.
First Intellivision game: He-Man Masters of the Universe First C64 game: Lemans First Amiga game: Blood Money First PC game: SimCity These are the ones I can think of right now. |

Atic Atac on the Spectrum at a friends house was the first game I ever played on a computer. This one game made me save up for ages until I bought my own 2nd hand Spectrum.
On my Speccy, the first game I played was Light Cycles (from the 99p range at our local WHSmiths). Basically a 2 player Tron type game - simple but good fun with a friend! On my CPC, the first game I played was Roland On The Ropes. The first game I bought for it was The Apprentice (Mastertronic). On my Amiga, the first game I loaded up on it was Days Of Thunder. That was the only time I ever loaded it up! |

Hmmm... Star Trek on an ICl 2093 minimac. We had a teleprinter at school attached to one via acoustic coupler (like a modem, for all you youngsters, but you plugged the phone handset into it..!)
Great fun.... dial, ask for a line, switch to duplex (or simplex?) and ' LOGIN QT' You never, ever, wanted to do an SRS (short range scan) - it took an *age* to print the contents of the sector ;-) LRS was easy... PHO for photons followed by the bearing... PHA for phasers... still have a copy of one game somewhere. Then it was Star Trek (albeit under a different name) on the PET. Much better, it LIST'ed faster than one could read :-) |

My first ever encounter with computers was a C64 @ a neighbour's house. I dont remember the first ever game I played there, maybe Save New York, Mutant Camels, Aztec Challenge, Space Pilot, Radar Rat Race... Considering its over 20 years ago, it's impossible to recall which game it actually was.
Same counts for the Amiga. Must have been in late 1989 at some dude's place that was in the same school as I was. I'm tempeted to say Test Drive was the first game I've ever seen on Amiga, but it might also be Outrun or Kick Off 1. I do remember however that the first time I saw 'Shadow of the Beast' on A500, I was awestruck :-) Same counts for the intro of 'It Came From The Desert'. And I also remember I got my 64 on march 26th, 1986, my A500 on 6th of october 1990, my 1200 on may 12th, 1993 and my first Intel clown on january 14th, 1997. |

First Game
I would say my first game was Star Trek (text based) on the mainframes of college way back in the late 70's.
First Computer owned was the Timex Sinclair with a 16K memory expansion. (woot!) From there went on to the C64 (Impossible Mission.."Stay Awhile...stay Forever!"), then the C128, and then (finally) the Amiga. First Game console was the Atari 2600. |

some orange Pong console late 70s (TOKYO or something alike was brandname)
first arcade game played: "Scramble" I believe, or Moonlander (1980?) - I only spent fortunes on 1942 at arcades, no other game ever got me hooked that much first C64 game played: some basic manually programmed games on C64 suing a booklet bought in a shop!! (1982) then C64 cartridges like Clowns (using paddles!) Radar Rat Race, Kickman, Soccer and submarine dual player (again using paddles, great fun!) (1983) First pirated game I ever played... uhhh, C64: Llamasoft's HOVER BOVVER! 1983 again...Then all went loose, no more originals, just magazines & GCS tapes! First Amiga game I ever played... Sublogic JET (1987) First (& last) PC game I ever played... Indianapolis 500 (1988 or 1989 ?) After Amiga, I discovered MAME and played that! Then came a short moment of N64 craze Then MAME again In 2004 I finally played another PC game, Call Of Duty and must say I was impressed! |
