All keys done. I might do some minor tweaks on some but on the whole they are finished.

Just playing around with instance geometry. This is 450 Amigas with a total of 95 million triangles.

Your last two pictures are rubbish!
The first one you've not even included the case itself, just the keys! The second one, I counted and there are not 95 million triangles! You suck! |

It's a pretty crappy render actually... but I'll do some nice ones once I'm totally finished with the model.

Can you make a model of a double decker bus out of Amiga 500s?

Hey Blazer I was looking your great work in this thread and here http://andreas.blazer.nu/pictures.php but did you finish this modelling of the A500 (last post is from 2008)?
And are you thinking in making or do you have any of the A1200? |

Hey dude, glad you like my work. No I never finished it, because I want it to be pretty accurate, and I never got any dimensions or good photos of the back. There's any area I can't figure out exactly. It's pretty close to finished though. Lemme see if I can render out a small test too see where I'm at.

I can help with hi-res photos of the back of my A500 if you tell me exactly what you want. |

Here are some quick renders where I'm at, obviously the rear needs a lot of work.
Prower, that's very kind of you. I had a quick look and I actually THINK I have all photos I need (was I while a go, so I may have forgotten if I was missing anything), although if you could do some measuring that would be even better. For example width/height of the ESC-key whole, functions keys holes, fan/grill holes, main body. You cold take a photo and just scribble the dimensions on it. Could start with a few and I'll ask for more when/if I need more. |

I'll try to get something uploaded for you by tomorrow evening.
I've not had as much time as I had thought to get this done, as this region of the UK switched to digital TV yesterday, so I've been getting all the new equipment installed and connected up (successfully, I might add ). In all A500 photographs I upload, the machine will be pictured together with a millimetre-graduated straight edge similar to those used on drawing boards, supported so it appears in the same plane. |
