According to EDIT2, it looks for MK2 should be the same ... diag (F0) is the 1st and SCSI (EA) is the 2nd rom then (I guess)!
I meant if flash based version (it most likely is single-chip, if it even exists) has F0 or autoconfig first. Hardware can map it either way easily and it does not really matter but rom dumps should match what you get if you desolder the chip and dump the contents.

Btw. you mentioned somewhere on MK2 is possible to map rom ... how?! is there some key needed to press ... or using some command?
I usually used blizkick sources to find out how maprom hardware works. I guess all boards also came with original phase5 maprom software.

btw, BPPC flashing will be fixed in next beta. It wasn't undocumented hardware, it was "only" wrong memory mapping and wrong flash chip id (wrong size) that confused flashing software.. It was unfortunately case of working only (sort of) accidentally.

Seems it does exist (or I must see something wrong) -> http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/phot...res=hi&lang=en

Single chip, yes, but it may be EPROM chip instead of flash chip.

You do not read! You have got a link on post#40, Edit4 !

http://relay.pp.fi/Amiga/A4000/Cyberstorm/ (check bottom "WHAT I KNOW SO FAR")

PLCCs seem to be protected from reading and they are also not re-programmable. So de-soldering another PLCC with newer firmware and soldering it to the place of the first one is the only way to firmware update PLCCs of these cards.
p.s. It has also mentioned the picture from amiga.resource.cx! Check below in table!

SN ??????
Original 060 manufactured 1995 or later.

Yes, I meant single-chip. (dont know is it eprom or flash chip)

EDIT: In unofficial replacement firmware MKxDiag.txt is mentioned:
Quote:
*** Requirments:

AmigaOS V3.1 (Release V40) - recommended, anything else untested.
CyberStorm MK2 - 040 and 060 type
Now Revision 1.0 and 1.1 are correctly supported
CyberStorm Mk1 - 040 and 060 type, flashrom required, or use EPROM image.
Seems "MK1Diag408_img" might be then an EPROM version ?!

Yeah, in CSMK2 manual is mentioned CYBERMAP on p.22!

p.s. But for CSMK1 on following link is mentioned: "cannot map the ROM into fast RAM" (see notes) -> http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/cyberstorm1

BlizKick has CSMK1 maprom support code (Same function is in Blizzard A3640 and A4030 according to BlizKick source comment) so apparently it is supported, at least in later variants (if not all). It is not enabled automatically at boot like in some other Phase5 boards.

Note the blizkick + CSMK1 require CPUCARD=CSMK1 parameter.

CSMKI has socketed Eprom. Is a dump still required? (My card has no CPU atm but I could dump the Eprom)

EPROM dump using programmer would be nice, it would 100% confirm ROM layout. (Hopefully flash variant uses same layout)

If/when the next WinUAE beta is done, this might be possible.

If you have any Apollo version (or any non-Blizzard accelerator), please run Scout and include expansion autoconfig data (window that shows manufacturer id, product id, serial number and more). Apollo boards apparently came with utility that shows same information, called apollo-info.

This very small bit of information should be also archived and it is needed for emulation. (It can be guessed but sometimes there are multiple possibilities)
Apollo autoconfig data is still needed. Any Apollo board (does not need to have SCSI or IDE), run WB disk tools/showconfig and include output.

Hello!

I would like to emulate TekMagic 2060.
How I can save rom for WinUAE from my real TekMagic in Amiga 2000?

On the website from post no.2 http://amigaromarchives.limewebs.com there is GVP 060 Accelerator 68060 rom in 2 files. How I can use it? I'm not sure if it is 2060 board and not 4060.

Someone has this file for WinUAE or know tool which can help me?

expansion_boot_roms.zip in the eab zone contains all known roms (check "rules & help" link if you get an error from the zone link)

You also should be able to dump the rom from your real hardware using any monitor program, for example mon165.lha from aminet, then run it, type "] f00000 10000 nameoffile.rom" (this makes single rom file but both odd/even and merged versions are supported)

I have a CSA Derringer 030 in storage... from the BBOAH photo I'm unconvinced if there's a ROM on the board to dump an image of but I could give it a go if so?!! Is it possible everything is dealt with by the startup utility software installed on the HD?

What I do have at hand is an image of my Amiga HD with all of the CSA utility software installed (poked in FS-UAE, looks like it could work if I re-imaged my system). Probably not of any real use except as a test case if the emulation happened to be present. Alongside this I found some other treasure in a GVP SCSI ROM (v4.13) I dumped years ago but I guess it's unlikely to be useful either.

It looks like board does not even have any autoconfig and utility is required to add on board RAM. Only board feature seems to be map rom (assuming it uses board hardware, not CPU MMU)

Only features that would need emulation are: map rom (if it really is hardware based) and RAM address region. Not that useful but it can be added if RAM addresses are known (someone has working board with some RAM installed)

GVP ROMs are too common

tools/showconfig output:

- without running any Derringer utilities
- after running utility that adds RAM
- after running utility that adds RAM + MAPROM enabled
- above two tests repeated with different RAM size (if you have different size SIMMs)

EDIT: if no showconfig (only 1.3), sysinfo boards and memory lists are also fine.
