It was hanging from the roof along with about 30 other controllers for various different systems. I took it down and asked the chap how much he wanted for it, expecting the answer to be £40+, and had to hide my shock when he said a fiver! Suffice to say I handed the cash across immediately and made a hasty exit. |

Good deal, trixster!
This week I got this: iBuffalo Classic USB Gamepad, a really good SFC gamepad clone, USB wired, at a fraction of the cost of the 8bitdo ones. If you don't mind giving up Bluetooth, these are excellent. Feels solid and comfortable, unlike cheap copies. |

I went out and picked up a 1997 Epiphone Les Paul. Sure, it's not a hand-built work of art like the Gibson version, but it's a damn fine instrument - sounds great and is just playable as hell - I could barely tear myself away from it to get ready for bed Getting it for a fraction of the list price with some upgrades by the previous owners didn't hurt either

Just received my A1K.org A500+ motherboard today, so that will be a cool little assembly-project. Will be a great match for the Vampire board I received not long ago.
Also included is the VIDIOT board and a 1MB trapdoor expansion. |

My i287XL arrived from China today. Popped that bad boy into my A2286 (after having some trouble getting the sandwich board off...) and ran the Intel x87 FPU stress test disk - it's authentic and works perfectly.
287XLs are pretty rare - it's a 387 FPU in a DIP package with a 16-but data bus to match the 286 architecture. The standard 287 was really an 8087. |

A replacement "Wireless Media Remote Touchpad" for my "Acer Aspire 5951G" laptop:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172592082558 It's the only one I've ever been able to find for purchase. Laptop is 6+ years old now and Acer don't sell the replacement part. God help me when this one packs it in... |

Got this Atari 1040ST with monitor and mouse locally for about €20 which I thought was a good deal. The monitor is dead and thus the Atari could not be verified as working but it seems to power on and according to the seller it worked when it was stowed away some years ago. This is my first Atari so I need to get/make a display cable so I can verify whether the Atari is fully working or not. Eventually I should also get the dead monitor fixed, but initially it will be much easier to just connect the Atari to something else.
Yeah, I know many people are either pro-Commodore or pro-Atari, but I've never actually used an Atari so I won't try to pass too harsh judgement on it until I have given it a decent go. |

I have been bidding on Atari STe (and the odd Acorn A3010/20) models for a while,
but no luck ! If I had the Money + Space --- I'd have an example of all the 16 bit machines made. |

A C64C and a spare A500 plus, with all cables-psu-etc.
200€ all , I guess is a normal price. Why? Because I think C64 scene is so active with lots of new stuff and I cannot emulate it on the Amiga or play with Windows emulator on LCD 60hz screens. |
