Well I don't mind this one and I don't really think it comes anywhere near to being the worst box art ever. And is actually quite good compared to the artwork associated with other VCS games.
It's certainly nowhere near as ugly/poorly designed as this cover: I was going to post an image of one of the many versions of the VCS Pacman box, as I saw one recently in Cash Converters. But this image is both more hideous and more relevant to my argument. |

That's absolutely horrendous considering all the nice, colourful characters they could have used
I mean, the Amiga versions are so much better: ... Bubble Bobble ... Rainbow Islands Then there's the FM Towns version; in fact that's where I cut my avatar from |

Teddy Boy for SEGA Master System:
I'm still quite puzzled about what they were thinking when they designed most of the SMS covers. There are so many sloppy drawn images on the grid pattern that would deter rather than help sales. |

It doesn't get any more Cyberpunk than a yellow button with a teddy bear cutout!

A terrible cover for a terrible game. I remember I paid around $5 for an original copy around 1990 and still felt ripped off after just a few minutes of gameplay. -edit- I just had a quick look at the available reviews for Bad Cat. AUI was the only one that even came close to mentioning just how painful this was to play, and Andrew Farrell form Australian Commodore and Amiga review gave it a glowing recommendation. And of the other two reviews which were not available on AMR one for 2.3/5 and one 87%, what on earth were these reviewers thinking with such ridiculously over inflated scores? 2.3 stars! More like 0.3 stars! And even that is being generous. Last edited by Anakirob; 25 February 2017 at 05:47. |

Actually a descent cover, but Robin should really have those abs examined, could very well be bubonic plague:

One of the few heroes who sport a legitimate 16-pack on their abdomen. Just looking at this pile of lumps gives me nightmares.
I'm also pretty sure they took great liberties in depicting Robin Hood and what I assume to be Maid Marian. Even Kevin Costner portrayed him better! Heck, the fox from Disney's Robin Hood was more believable!!! |
