I got me one of these monitors the other day.

A tad big, but... It does 50Hz through the VGA port (and supposedly 15Khz but I didn't try that yet - no longer have an Amiga RGB->VGA connector), so it matches very well with my Indivision ECS & AGA. Which means I now have one monitor for PC, Mac and Amiga instead of several ones

The whole range seems to be capable of 50Hz playback too, so it's a nice option to have.

One note of caution if you decide to get one: it can be a bit fidly to get it to display the 50Hz screen modes. Once it does, it just works and is smooth but you may have to switch inputs to a non-50Hz source first before it works. Not sure why this is, but it is what it is.

Kryandia needed cleaning - Very dusty

Moonstone also needed cleaning - Bit dirty and dusty ( Disks are currently not usable ) - But in overall good condition now

Chaos Engine needed ALOT of treatment, If I said to you it looked as if it was found on the floor in an abandoned garage, that's the way it looked. The disks were covered in mold and grime. Almost felt like I was scammed, got a refund thankfully.

If I can somehow get the Moonstone disks cleaned, i'd be very happy

Depends how bad the disks are! I open the shutter and rotate the disk slowly and check both sides and see if there is any mold/dirt and clean through the shutter with IPA and cotton bud. Some say not to use cotton buds but I've never had an issue, if I get a good dump then it's done it's job!!

Worst case is carefully crack open the disk shell, take out the disk and clean that way, gluing the shell back might be an issue, I used to do this in the past and used a drop of superglue where i'd broke it open but stopped that in favour of cleaning through the shutter!

I bought a Combat King Arcade sticks a few weeks ago, naturally the parts isn't exactly the the best around, especially the joystick which is a cheap Seimitsu LS-32 clone.

I got my genuine Seimitsu LS-32 today and have now replaced the knock-off stick, and bloody hell, this is fantastic.
Now I just wait for the mailman to deliver a set of Sanwa buttons I ordered too for the final touch.

I'm thinking of getting another of these sticks plus parts and fit an AmiArcade32 inside for the Amiga.

Could never get on with joypads, never liked them, it's why my CD32 sulks a lot!!

Anyway, just won on eBay: Sword of Sodan £25.70 and Elvira II Jaws of Cerberus £11.70, was bidding for Turrican 3 but when I got to £45 I stopped bidding as bidding went crazy and sold for £59

Couldn't agree with you anymore. Joypads and amiga games dont mix. I find it way to hard to play games with joypad compared to joystick. Try for example Sensible soccer. Much easier with joystick.

How can you possibly use something that usually has more buttons to press than you have fingers? Damn, that means I can't use a keyboard

I completely agree with sensi soccer and using a stick! But I'm very comfortable using pads with most amiga games (I used a sega pad back in the day) and a lot of my emulation playing now is across all the consoles so obviously for me it needs to have multiple buttons and sticks.
