I was able to acquire Voodoo 3 3000
Launched them together apocalypse and voodoo in the prometheus ( my own re-design for A4000) ..
DOOM PPC works Quake PPC too .. but only in software ..
How do I run Warp 3D ? do i need any special version of warp3d for the firestorm firmware
I installed warp3d from prometeus CD but something is wrong.. it is not possible to start any game or demo from the disc

it is not a new version. this is a good old prometheus redesigned for the A4000. just like the daughterboard from Hese

Isn't the Aminet release of warp3d newer? But not enough info to make any assessment.
You could post a snoopdos log while starting gearsppc for example from the warp3d demos.

I downloaded warp3d from aminet and it's better .. gears68k works but gearsppc crashes .. snoop dos shows that I don't have pci.library .. but this library is not from the mediator?

What crash? And you can remove the non avenger stuff from hwdrivers. Did you install the correct swdrivers from the Aminet warp3d archive (4.2).

I check if I have anything opening pci.library which is indeed for mediator and not Prometheus.

EDIT:

I checked on my machine and pci.library is not opened. Also, did you use the gears from the Warp3D 4.2 archive and not some old one? I don't have gears_PPC-mini in my folder, just gears_PPC-window.

I mean gearsppc freezes Amiga.
I am using package 4.2, gearsppc is from this version too.
The weird thing is that the 68k version works and it doesn't call for pci.library

Hi,
does someone have Sonnet 7200 working with OS 3.2? I did clean install of 3.2, got Picasso96 working (from iComp) and when i try tu run InitPPC i get PowerPC CPU not responding. Everything works fine in 3.1.4

when I changed W3D_picasso98_PPC.library from version 4.2 to 4.0, snoopdos no longer calls for PCI.library but gears still freezes Amige.
I found that when I run inintppc snoopdos it shows that I don't have ppc.library ..
I copied the library from the warpUP package and now when I run initppc I get a notification that phase 5 ppc.library has been detected and that I should delete it.

Another thing is that if I do not have ppc.library whichAmiga does not show me the PPC processor and shows with it.

I am uploading a photo from prmscan and whichAmiga with ppc.library in LIBS:

I still think you have the wrong W3D libraries. Any other than 4.2 is not supported.
If I look at my drivers I have:

Try the old Picasso96 2.1e? I hear that the new P96 software slows the PPC down considerably in Warp3D anyway (rumor says rtg.library is to blame).

I managed to run Warp3D ! Quake flies 44 FPS in 640x480 and Shogo also works .. I think I already know what the problem is .. my PCI carrier board is to blame .. I have to order a gold-plated PCB. now poor contact with the PCI slot causes problems

Yes it works. I have 3.2 ROMS and OS 3.2 installed in my A4000 with a Sonnet and it works.

I have both a CSPPC and a Ragnarok G4 that I still have to test.
I'd like to make a dual boot system using the PPC on AmigaOS 4.1 and the Ragnarok on the 3.9 side, as far as anyone knows is it possibile or there will be some kind of problems on the AmigaOS 3.9 side?

I have a dual boot system with 4.1 and 3.9 on different partitions. Works. On the 3.9 side I am running the PPC on the PCI card. And 4.1 is running on the CSPPC. You just need to install cards that don't use DMA. Cards that use DMA are not supported by 4.1

I have a ZZ9000, a Delfina Lite, a Radeon 9250, a Voodoo 3 and a Spider.
I have an Ethernet PCI but i'm thinking to use the ZZ9000 ethernet for connection.

I'd Like to make an Autoboot Jaz and installa AmigaOS 3.9 on it in order to use it with the Ragnarok.

Which pci carrier are you using?

It may not be the same issue but I had a ramix PCI carrier which did a similar thing and I found it wasn’t seating properly due to the backplate. I adjusted the two screws and move it up which allowed the card to slot all the way in which I didn’t notice it wasn’t doing at first which brought the PPC to life and it was up and running with no issues.

I'm almost certain spider does not work with 4.1 as it uses DMA. On 3.9 this is provided by the pci.library and memory on the VGA card. A hack that I am almost sure it's not supported on 4.1 classic.
