During the last 3-4 days:
1084 S-D2 quite ugly, but in working condition and cheap Monitor cable Joystick entension cable (will be used for Atari 2600 as well) ACA1220 4GB CF card incl. Classic WB ADF Transfer Kit incl. 4GB CF card Looks like my Amiga 1200 is on the way to the 21st century, although my Amiga in 1993 was faster thanks to a M-TEC 1230 turbo card. Anyway, I'll start to fool around with Imagine and Cinema 4D again. 128MB Fastram sounds like more than I'll ever need, even for 3D animation. |

lol.. I think I've never seen a HD DVD case.. And you bought one!? :O:P hehe.. The HD-DVD players must be one of the worst "ideas" ever, not that I think HD-DVD is bad but to come up with it at the same time as blu-ray was probably not the best idea :P

Fact is HD-DVD came out a year before BluRay and was better in every way except storage space (30gb vs 50gb), it had no region coding and HDi was about a million % faster than BDj, that latter if which is still slow and shitty! Last edited by dJOS; 09 May 2014 at 11:45. |

Oh really? I wasn't that much indepth into HD-DVD I must confess. Thanks for educating!
Although not very likely that I will get one, but are there any "new" or real new HD-DVD players available or is there any HD-DVD / BD combos available? |

Sony was so late to the party it took 3 "HW profiles" and several years to catch up to the HD-DVD's launch spec. I had both the 1st gen Toshiba HD-DVD and Sony BD players just do I could buy HD movies from all the major studios. Unless you have a HD-DVD player and a collection of titles I wouldn't bother buying into the format, it's dead. ( I have 80+ HD-DVD's & 3 players). |

I think I have seen some HD-DVD / Bluray combo players, although it was probably not official. I have three HD-DVD movies which I got before Bluray won the 'war' and I jumped on that instead. I didn't have a standalone player for it, but instead I used a HD-DVD drive in the PC. I still have the drive, although it is no longer installed. Maybe it'll be worth something in 20 years if it still works, seeing as they weren't very common? :-)

The LG BH-200 (iirc) is quite a good dual format player, I had one for a while and it can be switched BluRay regions using a programmable remote which was a great feature! |

Same one as mine, however it can be a bit iffy as it cuts in and out on occasion when file copying. Hence it being cheap
