Did not check this particular game but I'm quite sure there are no checksums. Just an interpreter based manual protection like in Transarctica or Ishar.

What I meant was if my method works correctly, it won't matter what they put in the game, my method will defeat the protection

Dependent what is for you checksum, if you mean about special ASM code, then perhaps not. But f.e. number of entered signs/letters can be checked or sum of all entered signs/letters must be OK. F.e. Ishar III (pre Robinsons Requiem game) has extra checks, crack needs two letters entered before pressing Enter.

I own robinson requiem in ECS and AGA in original.

Let me dump in ADF the disks

EDIT : ECS and AGA original releases of this game zoned.

the password panel appears when you have reached the tree that allowed you to make torch.

a save of the bug zone? if it's the case i can send you my robinson folder. you will just have to enter in the cave to have the freeze.

please pick your savegame, put it in the folder of the game installed from my original ADF.

just put it in the data-aga folder. enter in the cave and just wander inside you will probably face the bug

i got your save, tried it, and i get indeed the bug. the save is maybe holding the bug since the version used is a crack.

the matter is that you must enter in this cave and take a cesame computer in that place to continue the game

You can't use saves from bad cracked version with original version, due it will be works identical like for bad cracked version,

Checksum = check if code has been tampered with. Extra checks aren't checksums.

the cesame computer is a pda for robinson. you have to collect all of them if you want to escape from the alien planet.
