So if I stop sharing the file, will the tracker connect clients to other seeders who have the file? |

I have just downloaded it - very low quality movie, besides it only shows some unreadable boot messages and the kickstart startup screen... No Workbench, etc. I hope this is not a hoax, like the first Amiga "Emulator" for DOS...

Maybe it wasn't intended, but it sure seems suspicious that the text is blurry and the "proof" of the monitor being connected to the Mac is very poorly lit. I don't even care if it's real or not, but this whole thing seems like it's right out of a Bigfoot forum.

Up until the point where the kickstart screen appears I have seen this myself, so I can confirm that this is genuine. On my Mac Mini the screen then just went black because my Mac Mini is not a supported model.

Wow I can't wait until I get home and have the chance so wipe my horrible OSX and install a real operating system. The functionality and nostalgia values are through the roof.
Not to diss who ever did the hack/install spoof, that at least deserves some kudos |

I sure hope OS4 does not go down the drain after that...

Why AmigaMac cannot give howto/instructuions
It may be that AmigaMac cannot give instructions because the boot-iso he provided is stolen from an A-Cube associated developer who got his laptop stolen and he has no clue how it works:
http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/...order=0#419982 So to make it "tabloid": He did a very bad thing to do a good thing. Though I must stress that these are allegations that the moderators at amigaworld.net have received per email. Its supposedly Andrea, the coder credited in the files on the ISO who owns the IP to the iso. |

facts:
amigamac was banned because he disregarded mods queries to back up his claims with readable and useable instructions, without which the whole story sounded like a fake. and because the questionability of the whole stuff in regards to legit content of the iso amigamac has also registered again to get around the ban. i would suggest to leave the sanctification process to the churces... |

Someone want to sell me a legit copy of OS4 that will run on 'sensible hardware' - I'll buy it! Speaking personally I've squeezed as much 'fun' from this topic a I can. If I can make a request: Can we now leave this nonsense to the forums that it best suits? |
