I'd testes a bit around...
AmigaOS 4.1 boots from CD if no hard disk is configured. If a hard disk is present, I get green screen on PPC-ROM loading |

But how about the slirp support? You mention AmigaOS 3.9. Is there an easy way for me to test / reproduce the problems you mention? Can I just boot a standard AmigaOS 3.9 with A2065 / slirp option enabled and it will fail? |

I'll test it tomorrow with a fresh install of AmigaOS 3.9 and report it here!
The relevance for AmigaOS 4.x is even higher because the build in bsdsocket emu doesn't work. |

I'd now tested with fresh installed AmigaOS 3.9. The previous issues with 68k OS aren't present in this setup. Maybe a problem with the other config. Must make more tests with this config.
SLIRP seems to work as it should. As I use GENESIS I must use static IP's: 10.0.2.15, Gateway 10.0.2.2 and DNS 10.0.2.3. No problem for this. After switch offline the TCP/IP connection, it seems that we cannot reinitialize the interface. After OFFLINE wie cannot go ONLINE. We must reboot. |

Also, if you have time, it would be nice to know if going OFFLINE / ONLINE again works in WinUAE with the same setup / similar config. Of course, that's the goal I think I have already fixed the PPC init issue, so this might work in the next slirp test version... |

Download the "ethernet.device" from Aminet. Maybe the archive name is different. Cannot confirm, I'm on the way.
Install Genesis TCP/IP stack through the normal AmigaOS 3.9 installer. Start the Gesensis wizard, choose ethernet.device and set it up with static IP (see above). Reboot. After this start Genesis and click ONLINE. Now you can surf. Click OFFLINE and after this ONLINE again. Nothing should happen. |

...continuation:
with the a2065.device from Aminet it works with "ONLINE"/"OFFLINE" several times! This should be the solution Quote:

I'd now tested some things again!
In WarpOS you can enable/disable PPC. If I use PPC, graphics aren't shown at all. With disabled PPC all is as it should. Maybe this is in you new version fixed already... |

@amigafreak68k great effort with testing, thanks
Yes, probably. Sounds like the problem could be use of PPC-versions of datatypes when loading images (or something like that). |

It seems like the problems appear, as soon as the PPC is initialized by WarpOS (maybe) |

Excellent -And thanks again for helping out with testing and confirming the fix.
I'm now thinking the plan is to release both 2.5.18dev and a new 2.5.18slirp version based on 2.5.18dev. The reason for this is updated PPC support from WinUAE 2900b18, so the FS-UAE slirp/ppc changes can be tested separately, if necessary. |

I re-use my OS4.0 setup from WinUAE, where SLIRP/ethernet.device works for me.
If I try to access something thru AWebPPC, OS4.0 just freezes. Is it supposed to work under Linux? |

Tried this one myself.
Result: Emulator crashes before the PPC CPU even becomes active. |
