Yes, I'm pretty confident it's now obvious enough.

Wow - 22 posts already after 1 day. This round is very active!

Hey, you guys. Did we ever figure out what emu to use with this image?? I've tried using it with Daemon Tools and MagicEngine, but no luck. Do we have to use CloneCD to read the image-file? Usually Daemon has no problem with .img files either...

Click on "Boot CD" and then another click on the arrow down symbol. There you can choose either the build-in "Magic Sytem 3.0", or the "System Card 3.0". You need a .pce rom dump for the latter option.

It says no cd dude. I think the problem might not be Magic Engine, but rather Daemon Tools. If I mount the entire IMG-file, it notices a data-cd, but it doesn't register it as a PCE disc, or some such message.

What Image-mounting program are you using, Retro?

I've a Bin/Cue dump. Anyway, you should try to mount the .ccd file with Daemon Tools. Then the Boot CD Option of ME shows "X : Dracula X".

X = Any CD/DVD/virtual drive.

Ah well, I know Akira will hate me for this, but you can grab your English BIN/CUE version here Predabot :

http://.com/files/12953152...onami_.rar.002
Join the files with HJSplit
Hope that will then work.

Why? It's still the same game, with some translated text.

I know, but we had this 'same version for everyone' discussion
Well, guess I'll upload the translated version to the file server aswell and update the links

Or this one, for the n00bs. Of course it's NOT the PC version. Just a mednafen emulator package+the game.

Yes who cares, it's no magic to mount any backup of this game.

edit: btw: Here's a nice DVD custom cover.

That was fun. "Rondo" is the second best Classicvania - only Castlevania III for the NES is superior because it's harder, bigger, has even more paths and four playable characters.

Downloading now

Last time I said I'd join in my laptop went on strike so let's hope for better luck this time.

And the EAB side of the Super League has been suffering too, in terms of the number of people taking part...
