@jasonsbeer

I took a quick look at the schematic and noticed you inherited the 1K ohm resistor networks for address and data bus pull downs. This is a design bug in the A2630 (Commodore engineering ignored the 68030 output current specs.) I am now using 4.7K ohms on my A2630 (but anything higher than 1K ohm would be an improvement here).

A clock-port would have been an interesting addition. Maybe put that down as an enhancement if you have any spare pins?

There is also the Dicke Olga with similar features and 2 clockports, and also mounting points for a harddrive and a Delfina clockport sound card onboard.

What IDE/ATAPI modes does the IDE port support?

I keep hoping that modern accelerators will implement higher speed devices, preferably with a DMA mode (that works when the CPU is occupied doing legacy chipset bus stuff).

This looks like by far the most compatible (modern) accelerator for the A2000. I see it's confirmed to work with A2091 and rev4.x motherboards, does it also work with Z2 ram boards? Ie if I configure the N2630 for 4mb Z2 can I then use the A2091 and one of my other 2mb Z2 cards to fill the gap to 8mb?
I'm just trying to build a fast but not too far off original machine, have been tinkering with a PiStorm but it just doesn't seem to play nice with anything on the Z2 bus..which kindof makes an A2000 pointless

I got a ”Dicke Olga” card in my A2000 (because I got one from EU seller instead of this one which seemed to be US only) along-side a GVP Impact SCSI card (it boots friom a SCSI drive) and that works fine anyway.
I had the same though about building something that feels like something that was available back in the day)

I just got mine! I want to use the internal IDE port for a IDE Hard Disk, and also use the external CF port. How can I set this up?
