Has something changed in WormWars.lset? If yes, is it possible to merge with old file for highscore rescue?
If you theoretically want, how easy/difficult would be a larger size of the squares (e.g. 16x16 or 20x20 pixel)? So graphic items could be larger too for better recognition. I guess all level sets need to be re-made. |

I just donwloaded the new WormWars version and noticed an unimportant translation in Aminet readme that doesn`t fit IMHO:
Short: Advanced snake game Kurz: Fortgeschrittenes Schlangenspiel I would replace "Kurz:..." with "Erweitertes Snake Spiel" or "Modernes Snake Spiel" or something else that is better. |

Do you know the differences of the various medplayer.library versions? In my libs dir is medplayer.library V1.0 (19928 bytes). In OctaMED4/libs is medplayer.library V1.0 (7828 bytes). In WormWars dir is MEDPlayer.library V1.0 (15.340 bytes). Is MEDPlayer.library your own version?
Is there a way to force game over without loosing highscore? Is there somewhere (online?) a global highscore for all WormWars player? |

>"Erweitertes Snake Spiel"
OK, done. >Do you know the differences of the various medplayer.library versions? Any version should work with Worm Wars. No, it is the official V5.0 from the OctaMED 5.0 package. What tool are you using to query the version? >Is there a way to force game over without loosing highscore? No, not currently on the Amiga version. But pressing T after you die will speed things up until you either come back to life or the game ends. >Is there somewhere (online?) a global highscore for all WormWars player? No, not currently. It could be done but high scores are difficult to compare meaningfully due to the different resolutions (field sizes) that the game can be run at, and the ability to edit the levels; both these factors can make dramatic differences to the difficulty of a particular level. |

Abbout key T: What do you think about to make it much faster? IMO it is too slow. Or key B for break. |

In turbo mode, there is no speed limiting. Ie. it runs as fast as possible. (The game currently uses the DrawImage() function to render its graphics, which is not as efficient as some other possible rendering methods.)
B for break: what would you want this to do, return to the title screen? So, same as Esc, except for the high score aspect? Or, did you mean for it to do the same as T, except not actually show the gameplay (which would make it much faster)? |

Worm Wars 9.11 has been released, lots of small fixes...
The main site is having problems so it has been uploaded to http://amigan.yatho.com/#releases |
