I mostly play games on my CD32 so its generally the joypad I use. I have to say I don't really like joysticks. I find them difficult to control with the force needed to move the stick usually throwing the base off balance and that's if your holding or resting it on a table.

My arcade stick is a different beast as its very heavy and doesn't bounce around when your using it but still I prefer the pad.

I mainly had zipsticks back in the day on the A600. I had a megadrive pad at one point but it seemed like so few games supported the extra button.

Is really another similar poll needed? Just asking.

Why put it on a table? You have to hold it in your hands!
Unless it is an oversized flight stick (like this Quickshot crap), which is nonsense for most games.

Er, I think you posted this in the wrong thread. This poll is from last year.

Right. I don't know why it seemed to me as 2021 year...
Sorry. But topic is not closed.
I'm wondering how different results would be?

Anyway, Poll shows that there is good tendency to use CD32 standard compatible joypads, but there are still some "die hard one button" users.

Speaks to the games more than to the players really For modern games I tend to have not enough buttons on the controller...

BTW, I found few days ago next game for 3 buttons (WHDLoad version), it's Hybris. I'll add this game in next update of my list on PPA, on 3rd button is usage of module extension option.
