Any differences from the floppy release, like CDDA? I'm guessing not.

Yes, most of the unofficial/pirate CD releases (Ambermoon, Goal! 2000, Great Giana Trilogy, SOTB Trilogy etc.) either came towards the end of their time as a publisher on the Amiga or after they left the Amiga (i.e. 1999/2000 and beyond).

Back in 2000, one of their distributors KDH went public about the pirated material on the Goal! 2000 CD and stopped selling the game......which received a very nasty reaction from Alive Mediasoft's head-honcho Steven Flowers. Of course, no-one believed him and IIRC not long after he issued a press release saying that, due to continued attacks on him and his wife Jenny about the "unfounded" piracy issue, Alive were leaving the Amiga market.

Anyway, Alive Mediasoft's unofficial/pirated CD releases are easily spotted as they have mostly white CD covers, with a smaller version of the original release game box in the bottom right-hand corner or quadrant. See below for a typical example:

Contrast this with Alive's official CD release of Fightin' Spirit:

The trouble is.....after Alive Mediasoft left the Amiga, Steven Flowers from Alive started selling white CD cover knock-offs of the company's previously legitimate CD releases (plus lotsa other Ami/PC CD games by other publishers without permission) using subsidiary companies that he set up. Butterfly Media was one of the subsidiaries, but from memory there was a whole host of them designed to confuse buyers and the UK consumer complaints department.
