Soul Calibur was announced for the CD32 but was eventually cancelled when they realised they couldn't render the sword in real time.

I heard that problem with the CD32 version was the FMVmodule requirement. I know that DID had it running under the TFX engine

Damn fine game, first 3d better then 2d fighter.

...but back in the day when there was no MAME I used to want Amiga releases

True, for most of the games listed there are other ports available but that's not the point... I wanted these on the Amiga

I remember I wanted Sierra to port their 256 color games properly.. they were really horribly ported to the Amiga.

I wish Sega got Magnetic Fields to do the Outrun conversion. The Lotus engine would've been perfect for it.

Leisure Suit Larry 6 would've worked great, if they had given it to those who did the King's Quest VI port.

Etc?

Lomax is only a mediocre game, but the Henk Nieborg graphics are beautiful as always.

I wish The Dig were on the Amiga. Completed it on the PC and it is soooooooo good.. omg what an atmosphere!

I heard it was going to be a movie at first, but it would have cost to much, so they made it into a game instead. I'm now and then playing it on my PSP using scumvm...thingy.... it's perfect.

I still make maps for oids and it's still a fun game even though iv'e played it to death.Super Sprint plays brilliantly and is one of the best games you can play with your chums.

Agree its one underated game and the atmosphere is very unique, you just get dragged in going along to uncover more of the situation your in, although some of the puzzles are hard to solve I completed it nonetheless

Not quite the same, but the Amiga did get a conversion of Mr Do! Run Run.

I would've liked to have seen an Ami conversion of Slap Fight too. Others that come to mind include:

- Mega-Apocalypse.....great Mad Planets clone with funky Rob Hubbard music and speech!

- Ninja Remix (System 3) as released on the C64 since Last Ninja 2 was so lame on the Amiga

- Pastfinder (Activision).....a very much underrated shoot 'em up IMHO

- H.E.R.O. (Activision)

- Hypersports (Ocean).....a Hyper Olympics/Track & Field clone

- NBA Jam Tournament Edition (Midway).....GameTek probably cancelled the Ami conversion before any code was even written

BTW there is an old thread that you might find interesting re: 8-bit games that should have been ported to the Ami:
