How would you make it??

for sure it would had to have cool coppers-skys effects ala Fire&Ice and minimalist design for the panel of weapons, these made with hardware sprites.
I recall an interview in The One where Sensible software's Jon Hare & Chris Yates mentioned their displeasure at a lot of the early-day conversions of their top C64 games eg:Wizball, S.E.U.C.K.,Microprose Soccer etc., & how in certain cases they would've had done things differently-in a matter of speaking you could find traces of their older C64 hits with their Amiga works (& yet subtly changing the gameplay to suit the newer format), eg: Wizkid, Sensible Soccer etc.

Rocket Ball of course, to ease the pain between Speedball 2 sessions.

M.U.L.E. would have been a candidate, but SubTrade is sufficient as a replacement.

And a new version of Fort Apokalypse would be nice.

I meant to say Last Ninja Remix as was released for the C64 (i.e. based on LN2). Last Ninja 2 on the Amiga was absolute crap!

Decided to agree on wonderboy III. The game is JUST missing backdrop gradients.

It's available to download.
Wow.....never knew a follow-up had ever been planned, let alone coded. Thanks for the link

Black cauldron is available on Amiga too... : http://hol.abime.net/?id=125

But I believe the game you are thinking is name just "Cauldron". It also had a sequel called "Cauldron II"....

And it got a "sequel" for Amiga, called Super Cauldron: http://hol.abime.net/?id=2182
