well, cannon fodder is on 3 disks, you have to place cannon fodder save disk
when required by the game is DF0:

You can't have the 4 disks in the drives. You must remove 1 of the 3 disks
to place the save game disk.

It works, i have tried on Winuae, it do work !

and most of all, there is 24 saves on my disk. but consider the size of each saves, the disk is not full.

In that case, I'll assume it's a Hi-Toro/UAE on the Macintosh issue. Thanks a bunch for all of your help!

I tried again on the PC and got the save disk Mango Boots posted working. My inability to use it must be a Mac E-UAE or Hi-Toro problem--unfortunately, Save States also aren't quite to snuff on the Mac either, but I'm sure it will be remedied in a revision or two. Thanks again all.

I hope this isn't too late. I got myself a version of Cannon Fodder recently, and it works fine. Except for the fact I can't make a save disc.

I've searched Google for answers, and I've been lead here. I'm not up to speed on the policy of posting links to sites and what-not, but if someone could help me out with where to find a downloadable save disc, it'd be much appreciated

you use fairlight version ? you use winuae ?

then create a custom disk, run the game, ask for format, put the disk custom
in Df0: and click on format. winuae do the rest.

I use Winuae, but I've tried your method dlfsilver. I can't get it to work though, after a number of efforts, and saw that some people upload their formatted discs for others to use. Not a clue where to look though, if they're still up that is.

Is there one available to download from the internet?

It needs to be re-uploaded as files only lasts for like 6 days in there, then they are automatically removed.

so, I have another problem. Create empty disk in UAE, and formated it in the game (cannon fodder) but if I want to save, I can't. Why?? Please help me. Add, that I use WinFellow to emulate Amiga because WinUAE works bad...

OK, I have the game with a working savedisk, just tested it to be sure it works in WinUAE. I managed to save mission 1 and load it again, so it should be fine.
Going to upload it (Gamedisks 1,2,3 and savedisk) to the Zone now.

I agree, id love the savedisk too as the version i have with the immunity trainer crashes on level 23 (i think) so a save disk would be great. haylp!
