Looking through my old cover disks I found on Amiga Format Cover Disk 10 a really nice "Tick" mouse pointer animation - (there is also an American flag which is quite good as well) funny thing is I can get it to work on my A500 but when trying to run it on my A1200 it wont work - maybe it is not compatible with Workbench 3... anyway I will upload it to the zone and anyone interested can take a look...

Seconded!

Looks like its the tick ftw!!!

Technically the boing ball pre dates the tick as the Amiga logo. But this was changed when the Commodore deal became concrete.

Check out this early A1010 prototype: http://www.amigahistory.co.uk/rjmicaldrive.jpg

Thank god!! The boing ball is ugly.

Something to ponder: is it really a tick? or is it the path of the ball bouncing?

Never heard that the Amiga "V" was called "Tick".... but if that's so, then "V" it is... don't like the boing ball.... it isn't the ol' Amiga.

It's the Tick for me, since it's what they marketed it with.. However the Los Gatos team wanted the Boing, as you may know.

I always liked the tick better. But a boing ball is fine too.
