Hmm. Okay, attached. Settings are:

Parallel
LTP1
4W Laplink

Make sure your parallel port is set to SPP (Standard) in your BIOS.

The only other thing I can think of is to try the serial connection and see if that is any better?

got the discs now
got the ram expansion, so I just have to find some time/place to ge tit all going so dont lose faith

rem this is street rod 2 not one ... dont have any originals of one.

Are these games really that rare and elusive that no-one seems to get their hands on original disks to dump??

nah ... bro still hasnt found disks for me though he did say he had them.

I'll get to dumping the magic worlds pack, whirligig and skyfox as soon as I get the time to actually set the whole thing up... seeing as this has been dragging on for so long i'll try and do those at least in next week.

For what it's worth, PC2Amiga does work on XP - you just have to run the app twice

The first time you run it a blank window will appear - leave that open and run it again, it'll work just fine on the second window that pops up (then you can also close the first).

Although it's still awfully slow!

Yeah I won the auction, and I hopefully have the means to get it dumped now.
(after waiting forever for my bro to cough up his copy, I think in the end he last told me he leant it out... its probably the bastard im buying it back from via ebay)

why don´t you use a compact flash card? this is the easiest way to transfer data between pc and amiga 600/1200.
