On the Phoenix1 disc on the magix Ftp there are many german educational Roms.
For Example: English Course for Absolute Beginners, Hoffman DEUTSCH I - Grammatik PHYSIK 0:/~Public_User_Uploads/Amiga_CD_to_complete_collection/AmigaCD/Compilation/Phoenix/ I don't know who has uploaded it. I found many stuff I was searching for a long time. Thanks the uploader. Can anybody put the CD on the server file by file. So not everybody has to download the hole CD. |

If we expand this CD image to make the individual files it contains available separately, then where should we stop? If there is sufficient interest in this thread, I will download this CD image and make the directory available as a text file and upload individual or groups of files to the Zone upon request. Edit: Have you found anything similar on the other CDs in the Phoenix collection? Last edited by prowler; 26 July 2012 at 22:24. |

Just a question especially to our french members:
Something known about french educational soft developer/publisher "Micro C"? Was it commercial software? Last edited by mai; 09 September 2019 at 23:09. |

I had never heard of them.
Quick look online gives: * Interview with Alain Texier: http://www.lankhor.net/personnel.php?menu=interview - Apparently at one time, they changed their name to Colin Editions - Judging from the other publishers he worked with, Micro C was very likely a commercial publisher. * Bruno Martinez webpage: http://www.compo64.fr/passion.html He made some drawings for Micro-C. There is a contact section in case we really need some info. * Apparently, they published several titles on CPC (quite usual for French publishers of that time). Here is your friend the computer with hands and legs: http://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?p...uette&num=2587 Here is the listing for Micro C: http://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?p...enom=Micro%20C Micro Club is probably an unrelated published but I guess that CPC Power listing system adds those results because it stats with the same letters. This entry lists a price for the disk: http://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&num=5650 So judging from the quality of the packagings, the price mentioned and all the other info, 99% it was a commercial publisher. |

Can't help directly, but I'll translate a bit in case it can help to at least identify the category of the game:
Menu -> Menu Retour -> Back Interro -> That the most interesting part actually. It is usually short for "interrogation" meaning "exam". It could also be short for "interroger", "to interrogate" in the meaning of "to ask" Fin -> End : End what ? the game? At the bottom: La Chambre -> The Bedroom, which is were the mouse cursor is pointed on. Quite frankly, either it is a computer for very young children (vocabulary game?) or there are things you don't see on the screenshot (other menus, animations). Otherwise, it would not be much of a game. |
