Sure, internet access works fine. Wrote the posts on IBrowse on the same machine and using FTP as well to my NAS from there.

Ah, then could you share (with me only?) your "host" file? Also, could you try again running AmiModRadio from the CLI (with no arguments) with SnoopDOS on and send me the log?

Thanks!

Oh, indeed

I use MUI to create three pages:

Code:
        object->GR_grp_root = RegisterObject,
            MUIA_HelpNode, "muiui",
            MUIA_Register_Titles, _pages_names,
            MUIA_Background, _IM_register_background_spec,
            Child, GR_grp_controls,
            Child, GR_grp_preferences,
            Child, GR_grp_log_controls,
        End;
with _page_names an array of char * with the names of the pages... Maybe this is not how to do "right" and worked only by chance in 3.1?

Anyone?

Best!

Uh, not sure to understand what you mean... but, yes, it does work with AmigaOS v3.1 and, as far as I can tell with v3.9 and v4.x.

Best!

That's very surprising!
Which version of MUI are you using?
Did you always have this weird layout or only recently?

Best!

I don't think it's a MUI problem because if you turn off the AmiMoRadio graphics card it works well, watch videos:

If you refer to the screenshot posted above, that problem is only on OS 3.1.4 RTG

Of course no problem with OS 3.9 RTG, everything works perfectly as shown by the screenshot

No problem to make AmiModRadio work on Coffin OS (on WinUAE), just install HippoPlayer correctly.

I'm running R54 so there might be differences from your R48 release that is not accounted for. Hippoplayer works fine here, so that can't really be blamed.

Problem is the huge wait times when starting AmiModRadio here. 10 minutes until the GUI appears. And then still waiting 5 minutes each time I do specific tasks. I can't tell what is making it work that way, but I'm going to update Roadshow to see if that does anything, since the waiting time appears when AmiModRadio accesses the hosts file (which in my case is empty).

But glad to know it can run - just not with my R54 release of CoffinOS.

Actually, mine is Coffin 5000 i updated Coffin in my own way by adding Dual-PNG Icons and AfA OS and much more.

Hippo Player works everywhere and anyway, try to copy in "S" HippoPlayer.PS3M, HippoPlayer.group and HIP in "C"

About the problem AmiMoRadio I solved and found the remedy, it was a stupid thing, once the GUI was restricted to only the Player and saved the GUI the problem of the three faces of the GUI disappeared.

Hi tygre!

I've just tested the latest AmiModRadio on my A1200 running WB 3.1.4. Roadshow as TCP/IP stack, 68030 with 128 MB RAM. And it does exactly the same as my A2000 Vampire with CoffinOS. Takes 10 minutes before the interface comes up. And can't find any mods using the standard Aminet/mods source. After that the program stops responding I just have to accept that the program doesn't like me! Bugger...

If I ever find the reason and fix it, I'll let you know how I solved it.
