And it must support SCSI CDROMs too. (better option than trying to add some extra IDE hack)

EDIT: PCem has some 53C400 based SCSI controller supported (53C400 is emulated in WinUAE) so this is one choice if it is sane enough SCSI controller and BIOS ROM is vailable.

I did say that it must have UAE supported SCSI chip. None of Adaptec chips count. I won't debug some alien SCSI emulation using PC software!

Next step is to enable scsi logging (ATAPI uses SCSI commands): run winuae with -log -scsiemulog -scsilog command line parameters. If driver expects something unexpected or some rarely used SCSI command needs to be implemented. PC is totally different world than Amiga after all

Using the IDE:0 (auto) as above I did manage to get to boot a cd-driver from a dos disk (x86 side) and then was able to read the directory contents of a Win98 ISO disk. After that I tried to use the same driver to boot from my HD file, that was a no-go can't even get x86 or workbench to see the iso now. Will try again in the morning.
The driver is "sjcdapi.sys" sanyo v1.33 atapi may have been a one off or triggered by trying other drivers first.

I don't see anything bridgeboard specific -> test and confirm if it happens in plain AmigaOS.

EDIT: also include winuaelog.txt from bridgeboard crash using following command line parameters: -log -scsiemulog -scsilog -logflush

Hi Toni - can you clarify for me if the new bridgeboard code supports anything better than a 386 .. or can it also simulate the modified A2386SX boards as discussed in http://aminet.net/package/misc/emu/BBCpuUpgrde1.0 ?

Audio CD on WfW is working well.
Peter Gabriel Karaoke (CD+G*) image. *Can play Audio data only because this is not a (Karaoke)player to present graphics.

WfW = Windows for Workgroups 3.11
The rest is not clear for me. IDE Primary and XTIDE Universal are completely different.

ATAPI (IDE CD) uses SCSI commands. Don't try to analyze any command line parameter names..
