Upon testing the game it seems the game glitches with the character when you keep jumping. See attached AVI.

It seems to me that using a Quickstart A1200 instead of A500 fixes the issue all together.

So I've investigated this issue.

It only occurs when all trainer options are set to "YES".

...not really sure why anyone would want to leave "SPRITE COLLISION OFF" as "YES"?
I didn't notice this bug as I turned "SPRITE COLLISION OFF" --> "NO".

Ok, so changing to an A1200 configuration fixes but... not sure if there are then other issues without further testing.

From a quick play / comparison; one small issue I've noticed with setting an A1200 config is that the "Extra" bar is not full:

...not a big deal but.

Street of Rage updated .ADF; with fixed "enemies will get trapped in their punch state until hit again"

So please do the following:
  • Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Streets of Rage".
  • Download and extract this file into "C:\WinUAE".

SPRITE COLLISION to YES enables you to walk past the green moving monsters.

Disabling just "one" trainer option - "Unlimited Fire-Weapon" still gives that gfx glitch issue? It seems only disabling sprite Collision affects the game.

Maybe the game is badly cracked..

ADF - Wizard's World (19xx)(M. Matthews - D. Furzer)[cr QTX].adf cractro mentions, blitter & 1mb chip

TBH I think the trainer breaks the game...

You can see in this Vid below he enables the sprite collision for a very difficult part in the game 1:28:22

[ Show youtube player ]

Might be fair to say... keeping sprite collision on to keep the game working as it should, and to disabling it using WINUAE > Chipset > Sprite Collision = Disable (When needed)

Crack is good, it's the trainer that's slightly faulty...

Ok, that message isn't in the trained version.

I've now changed from "512Kb Chip & 512Kb Slow" to "1MB Chip" and seems good with all trainer options on

Just download / extract this file into "C:\WinUAE".

Now that seems to work much better....

Can you also check if you let the game run on its rolling demo after the title screen, you cannot press Fire button to start a new game? it kinda glitches out there, can you verify it happens at your end?

The demo is works fine and exits from a fire button press with these versions:
  • Wizard's World (1991)(Stratagem)(AU)[cr QTX].adf
  • Wizard's World (1991)(Stratagem)(AU)[cr QTX][a].adf
  • Wizard's World (1991)(Stratagem)(AU)[cr QTX][h TBD].adf
With the trained version, and all trainer options on, it's slightly corrupt and won't exit from a fire button press:
Turn trainer options off however, and the demo and exiting is fine.

So the trainer breaks the demo, even with correct memory config. Strange.

Older Updates

Hi Damien,

Thanks again for all your work on this collection. I let your updates back up a bit and when I went to DL them today, Updates 35 through 38 are no longer on the hosted site. Is there another way to get a hold of these updates? Thanks!

Hmmm, I can reupload those but...

If you have a fast internet connection it's probably a better idea to download the "Base Install plus Update Packs #1 - 40 incorporated" as it will save you messing around if you ever need to reinstall

I'll send you a PM
