Needed a pair of headphones for my new Macbook Air

Plumped for a pair of Sony ZX300/W (white) at £17 from Play.com

The walls in my house are a little bare being just white painted plaster so I decided to hang all my old Vinyl Albums (which have just been sitting in a box doing nothing).

So I got 10 of Silver Record Frames at £3 each and they just arrived and are great. A little cheap but work really well. Much better than random pop-art. I'll post a photo of them up with some Jean Michael Jarre covers in 'em if anyone is interested?

New 1900 mah battery for my Samsung Galaxy S2. I find that I get perhaps 24hrs max from the battery if I'm using it heavily for camera with flash + GPS and 3G data. So I got a spare to keep charged and in my pocket for weekends away. Couldn't believe how cheap they are. £9 delivered from Amazon.

@alexh,

Don't get too excited about these aftermarket batteries, I bought one for my PSP supposed to be twice the mah but lasts half the time and dies suddenly

But there's always the chance I got a duff one.

I hade the same experience with a "supposed" 3600 mAh battery for the PSP.

However, Amazon is a serious company, so maybe alexh got good products.

I doubt your case and your holder will fit with that battery. It adds about 3mm to the depth. That is why I plumped for the 1900 mah one which is the largest you can get for the original form factor.

Aye, SGS2 is pretty cool. Nothing else to beat it performance wise yet. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has a better screen (same CPU) but at the sacrifice of a micro SD slot. The nexus has had a great impact on the SGS2 prices though. Under £21/month on a 24-month contract (300 min).

I only get 250mb data. However I have free BTOpenzone access with my BTInfinity deal so I hope that I will be OK. MAME is good, but touchscreen controls are a bit weird.

I`m usually pretty weary about buying these products, according to the specs it should have worked:

- Scales up SCART RGB or video to HDTV 720p format;
- Automatic lipsync(audio delay) ensures audio video synchronization;
- 720p HDMI output at 50Hz or 60Hz vertical rate following input vertical rate;
- SCART audio is incorporated into HDMI out as well as passthrough to phone-jack output;
- Input video systems - NTSC3.58 / PAL / RGB 50Hz / RGB 60Hz auto-detection;
- DVI compatible by using HDMI to DVI adaptor;

Ah well..

Dont feel too silly, I got burnt by one of these as well....

You can't get burnt. By law they have to offer a 2 year guarantee and a 28 day no quibble money back guarantee. Arrange to return it and get your money back. Say it is not fit for purpose and try to get them to pay for the return postage.
