I can play back a video DVD .ISO file in DVPlayer using Cyberstorm SCSI (albeit without sound for some reason) but using CDFS instead I get an 'Instruction Storage Interrupt' Grim Reaper - is there any info I can provide that might help in debugging this?
![]() (I'm assuming UAE CDFS support should work as transparently as SCSI?) Beta 6 is awesome btw - I'm really having to get creative to find bugs ![]() ![]() Last edited by Aegis; 15 February 2016 at 02:17. |

How freaking cool is this?
![]() ![]() The palette's whack 'cause you have to run 16-bit in R5G6B5 (non-PC) to see the colours correctly but WinUAE doesn't seem to be able to screengrab that. |

-log -scsiemulog command line parameters possibly can show the bad request in the log. Maybe.

Done! I booted OS4, added the ISO and (tried) to play it in DVPlayer - logs attached for CDFS and SCSI.

![]() 1) Booted OS4.1 2) hit F12 and added the .ISO 3) Ran DVPlayer and selected 'Open DVD/VCD' 4) Profit? With CS-SCSI the DVD played, with CDFS the Grim Reaper. Actually, there might be a difference - I have CybPPC kmod turned off when using only CDFS (since it takes up RAM for no good reason) - I had to turn it back on for CS-SCSI - do you want me to run it again with the kmod enabled for both tests? (CDFS module was/is enabled for both tests obviously). Quote:

Bleh. It looks like problem is not in that part of code..
Update #3 (or something). More command line options needed: -log -scsilog -scsiemulog Attach both CDFS and hardware SCSI emulation logs. Could you also insert the CD before starting emulation to reduce unneeded log lines? |

![]() Here's the 68060 demo (needs Wazp3D for WinUAE). *Edit* Seems you can do quite a bit with 128mb of RAM ![]() Last edited by Aegis; 15 February 2016 at 21:58. |

Sadly not
![]() The strange thing is that I can play back the VOBs straight off the ISO but I try to get it to play as a DVD it fails. |

Yes, it is, you just confirmed it because behavior is different. Now some other thing goes wrong.
-> new logs again. |

![]() *Edit* another (little) bug maybe? When I turn on 'limit directory drives to 1GB' AmigaOS is reporting 720MB in use whereas Windows is telling me the directory is using 348MB ![]() Last edited by Aegis; 16 February 2016 at 04:47. |

![]() And yes, same configs - only differences are: 1) SCSI instead of UAE (duh ![]() 2) Automount CDFS is turned on for UAE. Quote:
*Edit* just checked it in AF2016/WB3.X/3.2.2 - same deal - volume size/free space is half of what's actually there (different drive: actual size: 279GB, used: 249GB, free: 30GB / WinUAE size: 139GB, used: 124GB, free: 15GB). Last edited by Aegis; 16 February 2016 at 17:39. |
