Summary update from my latest video.

DCACHE on TF534S is going nicely. I'm getting no response from the SATA chip. Very strange.

How about the TF030 board with IDE combined with the Kipper2K Socket adapter for an all on one board for the A2000's CPU slot? Would this work?

TF530 (and i hope 534s also) works fine on A2000 as much as i know, you just need a good power supply

I’m trying to keep the 10cm x 10cm form factor for the 53x series because it’s Uber cheap to produce

Hi, i am planning to build one of the TF530 boards and am gathering the parts together. I have the PCB and have the CPU/FPU ready to be ordered. I'm slightly concerned about the 2Mb ram though. Is there a way to increase the ram to 8mb? or could i leave the ram off the board and use something like in the pic attached in between the TF530 and the 68000 to get 8mb?

No it wont work. If you want more than 2Mb dont build a TF530. Its an out and out performance experiment.

Good evening Stephen,
i have one question related TF530+Atari ST:
have bought a 1024STf to be able to test these cards on Atari, hovever, i am getting bombs on startup only. Do You use "special" Atari firmware? what is about IDE? Does it work? Where can i get setup info about using TF with Atari?
Thank You..

PS
thinking about relocator board for ST's, seems there is a chance with shield removed

The 020/030 does not work with TOS 1.x. You need TOS 2.06. I have a TBoard.

oh, thanks, didn't knew it.. it is an early 1024STf (C070789-001 REV.C with red LED & 1.0 TOS). As far as i know, i can use 1.04 tos only
need a special adapter to be able to use 2.06 TOS..
noticed one problem with computer - seems that there is a RAM issue - only 512Kb from 1024Kb are recognized. Have ordered some diagnostic cartridge PCB's on easyEDA today, will wait till these arrive to proceed

PS
and what about IDE? Is it working?

PPS
took a look at different ST MoBo rev's..it will be a pain to create a relocator as layout is totally different.. there is not so much room as in A500.. currently have only one solution:

something like this..of course 64pin, shield need to be removed, and TF Board will be moved on the back (thank You, Sephen, for the hole in the edge, this can be used now! lol
however, i think the ribbon can be up to 10cm long only...

FastMEM and IDE dont work on the ST yet. Nobody has really pushed for me to get it working.

EDIT: IDE doesnt work on the ST for the TF530 because A5 is not wired up. This is corrected on the TF534S.

i think it will be a lot of fun!
And don't forget to let it work on A1000...
kidding.. just wanna let You know, if You will start to do something with ST's - i will be there to test and report, cause i really love ST's, it's a great computer in my opinion, and it deserves 030 CPU and other things Amiga have already...

Look at what Exxosuk has done with the ST. He's the benchmark.

The tf530 needs some work on the ST. I am starting to think of a better way to make the clock crossing more reliable

Clock crossing? ASYNC dual-port FIFO? I guess the CPLD/FPGA on this board may not have those?

Fifo doesn’t help when it’s marshalling a clock cycle. Its flags not data.
